Rooms are very clean. Mattress, pillow and beddings are clean and comfortable. Hotel staff are very helpful, but need improvement in use of English and ability to communicate without giving wrong impressions. Overall, very good hotel and great location in the centre of the city right opposite Tianyi Square for shopping.
I booked a king size bed, but got a twin bed room. Otherwise I was well received, friendly staff, good breakfast, great location.

Great hotel for the price. I was very happy with the room but the bed could of been softer. The best experience of my stay was the breakfast (Western style)was great, it had a great variety, it was HOT and chefs that approach you who speak perfect English to see what they could arrange for you in which I had a cheese omelet cooked perfectly. This Level of service during breakfast is hard to find in China. Where the typical Experience with Breakfast in China is walking away Hungry, Annoyed and frustrated. "Good Job Crowne Plaza you have great staff working for you".
The hotel is in Ningbo city center. Very comfortable. Big clean and well furnished room. Staff very helpful. Have facility to book train tickets at service center at the hotel. Buffet breakfast has good choices and quality. Reception area also is well furnished with complementary juices.

If you are looking for a Western hotel with a good location in Ningbo, select the Crowne Plaza.
After four days on a rock hard mattress, I learned they had updated rooms with soft beds. The staff is not English friendly. Gill, the executive chef, and his brother Will are the two best things about the hotel. They will cater to your needs, and speak multiple languages.
Very clean , staff are great , good choice of food , excellent location , walking distance to Tianyi Square, Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC many Western style shops and alike, lots of public transport, stayed on the 10th Floor excellent views over Tianyi Square. Staff cant do enough for you, excellent buffet.
This hotel has a very good breakfast buffet and spacious rooms. I always stay here when in Ningbo.
