The Grey Hotel

Tipptopp Lage und geschmacklich schön eingerichtet. Der Balkon mit der Aussicht ist fantastisch.

Zimmer Nr. 3 ist direkt unter dem Aufzugschacht mit dem das Essen auf die Rooftopbar befördert wird. Das war sehr laut und ging einem ziemlich auf die Nerven. Leider ist das aber auch das Zimmer mit dem schönsten Blick auf den Tafelberg. 😉 Obwohl wir Frühstück inklusive gebucht haben, mussten wir 10 % gratuity noch extra zahlen. Dies war uns vorher nicht bekannt und das finden wir auch nicht in Ordnung. Trinkgeld geben ist grundsätzlich kein Problem, aber nicht auf diese Art und Weise.

The room does not get dark enough to sleep. too much light reflecting into room. Wished for a small kettle to be able to boil water for chamomile tea before bed.

As always the Grey Hotel was fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Skybar Staff are fantastic and the bar snacks were delicious and the bar itself is great, with such lovely view. I also used the Hotel shuttle service from the airport which was so great. The driver was friendly and I felt safe (women on my own). Yes, I am back next year!!

Good location, quirky and stylish decor. Good breakfast in what I think was a separately run cafe. Fun rooftop bar.

Staff a bit disinterested, didn’t log that our breakfast was included despite several emails. Offered an airport transfer, but never confirmed despite several emails.

I had to ask for an iron, they could keep one in the room A small microwave will also be a nice addition, although space could be an issue

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful and central part of Cape Town. The staff were marvelous!
