"Sucks "

4.0

There was a thick vomit or food stain on the bed skirt and there were literal old sausages sitting in the fridge. Not very clean and the parking situation in the front is awful. Security guy in the front will just watch you struggle to park. The photos are not accurate at all, the outdoor area in them does not even exist and the pool was closed. The bar and lobby area also sucks. And you have to pay $25 for parking in the garage which is ridiculous. And no breakfast, which we knew, but it still sucked.

Great experience! Very clean hotel in a historic building! All the staff were very friendly! It’s in a great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Would stay here again.

My wife and I have been staying at this specific hotel at least once a year for more than 20 years. We have to say, it’s really slipped a few notches. More specifically: 1. They charge $25 per night if you want to park in the parking garage on the property. We did park there because of an overnight ice storm. We were alarmed to see shattered auto glass directly beside our car the next morning. It appeared the car beside ours had been broken into. It definitely didn’t make us feel safe, or feel our $25 parking fee garnered us a safe place for our vehicle. 2. They’ve always had a fantastic hot buffet breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. That’s been eliminated. You can still order a hot breakfast from a limited menu, but you have to eat at one of only two tables in the lobby. The two tables had heavily soiled cloth chairs, and the ice cold wind from the front door opening made the breakfast experience miserable. 3. Our room was clean (it always is at this hotel), but the view outside our window included large broken branches, quite a bit of garbage from who knows where, and even an old industrial rooftop air vent laying in the grass?? Not exactly a scenic view of the Plaza. We also noted the parking garage directly beside this hotel is closed and for sale, and has been vandalized with graffiti. On the next block, several businesses are also shuttered, lending to the impression that this is a declining area in popularity and safety.

Old. Cleanliness was average. Nice bed. Alright service, nothing crazy. Truly just your average stay. I’ve had better experiences at a holiday inn. Lastly, we found a hair in the bath tub…

Nothing was unique about this property. There are hidden fees that is not explained until you check in. The furniture is very old with stains, elevator didn't work plus the building was dark no natural light. I will NOT be staying there again!
