Powder's Edge by Whiski Jack

The space was very convenient for our family with the multi-bed setup. The parking was confusing as the two spots for our unit are in separate areas not visible from each other. We eventually figured it out but it was a hassle. We knew there was no housekeeping cleaning during our stay but we were not even able to get fresh towels or more coffee delivered. Also there was as a terrible smell through some of the hallways between the room and the elevator (urine or other). Other than those things, the condo was amazing and comfortable in a great location.

building not clean. I used 1 dirty body towel hung on the rack. but actually not clean. master bedroom has no shampoo/conditioner/body soap. hot tub cover is very dusty.

The location is amazing! It's so close to everywhere, especially to the gondola. The interior design of this place is great too, very reasonable design for two families with kids or more.

The duvets and bed are not too clean, saw some blood spots on duvets, and hair on bed before using them. The check-in system is a little bit unusual, had to check in online before going there which is unexpected.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and the location was great. There was an ample amount of supplies and towels left for us in the unit and I really loved the access to the washing machine and dryer. I loved that there was a complimentary box of laundry detergent and dryer sheets for one load also. Everything we could need during our was available. It exceeded our expectations. It was like a home away from home. I loved that there was a grocery store, drug stores, shops and lots of food choices available right around us. Considering that this is a high tourist area, the prices everywhere were reasonable! We booked a bear adventure tour from a shop in the complex and that was a fantastic experience too! Staying at Powders Edge was really great!

We did have a bit of trouble finding the parking (the instructions said to look for a wooden sign that said Mountain Lane. We couldn’t see the wooden sign, only a street sign, so the mention of a wooden sign threw us off a bit). I also thought that the signage to the unit coming from the parking garage could have been better. It took us a bit to find the unit but once we found the right area, it was all good. I am also not used to disposing of my own garbage when I stay at places and think that this should be included as part of the cleaning services. The signage to where to drop off our garbage could have been better. There was a sign that garbage disposal was on the parking level but once in the parking garage, there was no signage on where in the parking garage to drop off the compost, garbage and recyclables. There were only huge bins but they weren’t clearly labeled.

Very close to town. Exactly what we expected. Property worked out well. Initially a bit confusing to find the entrance but that is probably due to not reading the directions provided. Would recommend the property. Great value. Thanks.

Fabulous condo, super clean and was easy to talk to company when we needed to. And the location couldn’t have been better. The building common areas however were less clean, had a very strong odour from the restaurant down the hall, and we even had homeless people sleeping in the hallways at night. Definitely didn’t feel super safe.

Wonderful location, great for folks wanting to hit the lifts. Super central to restaurants and shops in the village.

The entrance to the units are a little hidden and hard to find by foot or if you’re travelling by car from the parkade. My grandma did not end up attending this girls trip but if she did, it would have been very hard for her to maneuver through the doors. The unit itself was perfect for our group, nice big spaces and the in-unit hot tub was a plus (it was a bit dirty but the staff sent someone over the next day to clean it.)
