Village Gate House by Whiski Jack

The condo was so much larger than I expected. Great location. The property even called me a day before my arrival to make sure they had the correct email to send the property information and door codes.

Location was perfect. Apartment was also the perfect size for two people. Bed was very comfortable.

The apartment was very light at night making sleeping difficult. Some dark blinds or block out curtains would be great! There is a triangular window above the bed with no coverings at all and a mirror to reflect the view! The light beams through. Blinds come down onto the bed meaning when you moved your pillow, you come into contact with the blinds. No air conditioning and the high ceiling fan does not cool the apartment or bedroom at all. Apartment is close to a pub so the revellers make a lot of noise getting to wherever they are going when they have finished drinking, no matter what day of the week!

We loved the private hot tub. Location was amazing and very central in the village. Fridge didn’t seem to be working well so did not keep our food and drinks cold. There were also no extra pillows and comforter for the pull out couch.

The central location was great, kitchen and utensils were good

Apartment is dated , having no air conditioning is poor

The location was great and the private hot tub was awesome.

There was a mouse that constantly scurried around the living room. Mouse traps were set out by the staff, but the mouse seems to have outsmarted them. At one point I saw it scurry along the couch and after that was not comfortable sitting on it. Also, when we went to pull out the couch bed, the sheets were soiled in mouse droppings.

Parking directions could be better to get back to hotel.
