The Windermere Rooms at The Wateredge Inn, Ambleside

Convenient for where we wanted to be, stunning views from the pub, close to Ambleside town

Little air coming into the room, no bathroom window you could open, ran out of breakfast items quickly - staff need to keep an eye on replenishing breakfast items - toaster takes too long and is positioned in the wrong place

Didn’t like how the dogs were allowed on the chairs beside the tables where other people would have to eat might be good idea to put a sign up to say keep dogs off seats as we seen in other places we were at

Fantastic location on the lake shore, Really spacious, clean and contemporary room with a great shower. We arrived by Motorbike and felt that the parking was fine for them. The restaurant was great. The food was lovely and all the staff I interacted with were great and we all felt very welcome.

A personal opinion but the mattress was not that great for comfort. The television was attatched to the wall but could not be turned to be seen from the bed. Both very minor things but they are my only negatives.

Location was fantastic, Ambleside is beautiful and it was great to be right by the lake. Room was clean with a big shower.

Room smelt quite musty and the outside was very tired.
