Noisey from roadside, the shower did not drain and flooded the bathroom. Staff not helpful at breakfast

Excellent location

Room was a good size for 3 persons. We had the biggest room. Breakfast was good! The mushrooms were amazing!

We had dinner at the same restaurant. Fish and chips were quite bland. Fish probably frozen for too long. No separate shower stall.

The location, the facilities, the comfy rooms and beds, the stunning beer garden overlooking the lake - perfect for kids, but the best thing of all - the staff! Helpful, smiley and lovely, all of them, even in high pressure situations and never ending queues on a sunny bank holiday weekend. Someone in our party had an accident (outside of the hotel) and the general manager was really nice, considerate and super helpful, which helped in a very stressful situation. We will definitely be coming back

We were there on the hottest may bank holiday weekend and the pub was constantly packed, which meant you had to queue for drinks and food and one day we even had to wait 90 minutes for our food. However, the staff was absolutely doing their best and didn't stop for a minute. The day after the madness they closed it for residents only which kind of made up for it! Really well managed
