All great

Booked as close to the airport, room was nice, did not have breakfast due to early flight.

Liked shuttle convince, staff were nice, bed was comfortable, quiet location, clean room. Wasn’t too happy with not being able to eat at Runway 28 as I believed we were told it shouldn’t be an issue then booking a reservation for Saturday night & then being told the front desk didn’t book us, maybe they booked you downstairs, but anyway they had room for us. Thinking these bookings need to be clear and maybe provide a reservation number.

Great for an early am flight!

A nice overnight stay between 2 flights, spoilt slightly by a couple of mistakes. First the good. The shuttle bus from the airport was easy to find and the check-in process simple. The room was very comfortable, clean and had an lovely big soft bed. Breakfast had an excellent variety and the scrambled eggs (always a good litmus test of the food) were pretty good. Next the mistakes. We had booked the Bubbles and Chill leisure break which included prosecco and macarons to be in the room on our arrival. Unfortunately they were not and I had to phone reception twice, once before dinner and once after to get them delivered. On check in we were asked what time we needed the shuttle bus in the morning. We booked it for 09:40. We checked out at 09:30 and waited patiently but concernedly until 09:47 when we checked with reception if there was a delay. According to them there was not. We then waited until 10:00, at which time a group of 11 were waiting for a shuttle bus that only had capacity for 8. When it did arrive we expressed our concern to the driver (Paul) who told us he was there at 09:40. A number of us refuted this as we had been waiting since 09:30 he said we were wrong! He also went on to say that 09:40 was the assembly time for us and the departure time was 10:00. If true this should have been told to us by reception (however see my picture of the schedule). During and after the trip he apologised and said that he was a stickler for punctuality but there had been a puncture in the other bus that may have caused the delay. I would like to say that given the circumstances he was pleasant but firm but there are contradictions in his story. Finally for the sake of clarity my words are not verbatim but are accurate in the understanding of the situation.
