Nice hotel, but far from centre but very clean, nice view from room

EXCELENT SERVICE. IS A GRAND HOTEL. GOOD LOCATION.

Everything was fine. Clean, friendly, all needed amenties, and an excellent breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating in English. Rooms are fair sized and bathrooms are clean. Nowhere near the bed to plug in a phone charger so you’ll need an extension cord. Windows are not able to be opened as the handles are removed, so you must phone staff if you want them opened (or just find the handle in the desk drawer and do it yourself).

Our treatment was outstanding at the Ambassador Hotel. Services were excellent and the staff went out of their way to be helpful, especially front prson and bellboy Piotr, who went out of his way to help us in the kindest manner.

Updated hotel within walking distance to many sites and to the excellent metro in St. Petersburg. Room was clean and comfortable if a bit small. Breakfast is a big spread of Russian food in a glassed in room with a good view of city. Everyone who worked as concierge was helpful and competent.

a disappointing hotel, overpriced, dirty old carpets, not even a glass for water in the room, free pool only for 3 hours in the morning and a price tag that will get you a 5 star hotel in St Petersburg

Clean and modern. Good breakfest buffet and good location.

Quiet location. Close to Metro and bus lines for easy access to museums and churches. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Helpful concierge service to arrange tickets for ballet, concerts, folk show, etc. Good restaurants in neighborhood. Grocery store and bank within five minute walk.
