"We had a wonderful, peaceful stay in quiet and comfortable surroundings."

What didn’t we like!! Steve and Trish are the best hosts: friendly, helpful and obliging. Their accomodation is spacious and comfortable and so peaceful. The meals from their kitchen are next level first class.

Great location near Mount Field NP, and relaxing farm stay with great views, birdlife to watch, great fire place, and very comfy cottage.

"A cosy quiet hideaway cottage"

We stayed at The Hideaway which was an independent cottage away from the other suites. We liked the quiet isolation of the cottage and the surrounding green pastures. We could roam freely on the farm grounds and walk among the sheep. We ordered the Chef's menu of roast pork for dinner and it was the most tender and delicious pork we have ever tasted. Highly recommended! There is no light pollution at night and we were able to see the stars. We were fortunate to witness the Aurora Australis just outside the cottage! A bonus for our stay! Thank you Trish and Steve for being great hosts. Appreciate the easy and prompt communication. Trish is a fantastic cook and you definitely have to try her food.

The bedrooms do not have cupboards where we could hang our clothes. A clothes rack with hangers would be really useful. There aren't any heaters in the bedrooms except for heated sheets on the beds. There is a fireplace in the living room and a portable heater which we used in one of the rooms.

Trish is a wonderful cook. We loved the food, much better than restaurants food. The room is decorated with all details with style.

The phone signal is very weak; internet is not reliable which is probably typical for remote area

Great location to explore the Mt Fields area. The room was spacious and facilities great whether self catering or in house dining. The meals available to choose from were all amazing and delivered to our room! We enjoyed walking to the dam and a tour around the farm. The host was also very helpful with local information and places to see.
