Sandstone Point Hotel

This location doesn’t serve breakfast, but is inexpensive.🙂 We love this location, it’s near the beach! Last year for my birthday we stayed in the building Seahorse, and this time we were in Salmon with a sea view,and private balcony!

There needs to be at least one more chair besides the futon, maybe along the wall just inside the door to sit on and remove sandy coated shoes. Could use some sort of hooks on the walls in the foyer area, and maybe bathroom too, to hang jackets, robes, etc. Then also some sort of table by the fridge/microwave bcuz there’s no where to set stuff down except on the floor, or on the very top of the shelf that the fridge and mic are on, and I couldn’t reach that high. We had a cooler with us and used the top of it for a table.😉

It’s bad service I don’t recommend anyone to reservation there

We got there and there was people doing drugs in the parking lot and in one of the main floor rooms. Unsafe neighborhood and when we got inside, it was filthy… No lock on the sliding glass door. We tried to get our money back and they would not!

The location was amazing! It didn't feel cramped.

It was somewhat clean, but under the bed had some sand and dog hair. The gas furnace was turned off by the prior guests, so we didn't get to use it the first night. It was a bit cold at night and only a very thin blanket on the bed.

I liked that there was hot water.

When I arrived there was no instructions on how to get in the room. I was given a code but no direction that I needed to enter code, twirl the deadbolt space and then open the door with the door handle. When I called customer service they said they would call the "local team." I waited 20 minutes by the door and noone called or showed. I called again and got someone else. They treated me like I was dumb that I didn't know how to open the puzzle of a door. When they connected me to the local contact she told me how to open the door. She also said that there was "supposed" to be a qr code showing a video on how to open the door. Which the door did not have. Also what is someone supposed to do if they do not know how to do a qr code. When I got in the room it appeared clean. I went to plug in my breathing cpap and 1 plug out of each outlet does not work. I had to unplug lighting to plug in things. On the second day the TV cut out and said "no service" so I had no tv all night. I also reserved the room for 3 nights was given only 3 towels, for 2 people and 3 days. I was told they do not give additional linens. Lastly the sliding door is very hard to open and the slide is EXTREMELY dirty. The room was very warm with all heat shut off. I slept with the slider open. Overall I will not stay again. I was given a $20 credit. Not enough for what I went through.
