The location and cost

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the location and price were reasonable, and the booking process was smooth with great initial communication, there were several major issues. First, there were numerous cockroaches throughout the hotel, which was really off-putting. Additionally, there was no receptionist available after 4 PM during weekdays, neither on public holidays and weekends, which made it extremely difficult to get any service or assistance. One of the biggest problems was a sudden loss of electricity for an entire day due to a simple switch issue. This caused all the food and baby milk in the fridge to spoil, and with no air conditioning, the heat became unbearable. It was impossible to stay in the room comfortably, forcing me to leave and find another place. Overall, the hotel felt poorly managed and maintained. The lack of on-site staff and the general upkeep were major drawbacks. I would not recommend staying here unless they significantly improve their service and maintenance.

We liked the staff and the pool area and bbq

Our room was very tired, moldy curtains, no care in the room, chipped walls and cupboards, people smoking in areas near the rooms, no service for the 8 days, cleaning staff happy to give extra towels and linen, mismatch of plates and cups and glasses.

We liked the pool and bbq area. It was quiet and safe. We enjoyed sitting out in the balcony.

The room could have more glasses and plates.

Basic but had everything we needed for a 3 week stay.

Whilst the pool was very good the steps to get into the water were broken and could not be used. This was the situation when we arrived and still not repaired by the time we left.

Pool was great, appreciated the accessibility of the room and facilities.

One of the bathrooms had a horrible lingering cigarette smell. And though the balconies said “no smoking” a number of guests walked passed rooms smoking which floated into the rooms. One of the rooms had noticeable mould on the walls - it appears to have just been painted over.

Was clean convenient to most things

The staff I dealt with were all lovely and accommodating. It was good to have a toaster and microwave. The pool area was clean and tidy every day.

The room smelt musty. There was quite a bit of mould in our room. The curtains, especially the nets, were covered in mould spots, as was the bathroom ceiling. The rooms desperately need renovating. Also there is no servicing of the rooms until day 8 (you could go and ask for fresh towels if you wanted).

office could have had some staff over the weekend. Understandably no glass is permitted in the pool area but there were no plastic cups/drink containers in the room and the outside entertainment area is inside the pool area.

I found the room deco to be very tired with rust showing on door frame, our room was in need of a spruce up
