Hotel Da Gale

Nightmare.thr.was water leack and we were informed every single day but they didn't do nothing about it.and they saying breakfast include.but breakfast was just bread,and cerial.

Pros: Great location. Amazing views. Nice staff. Clean rooms. Cons: Balcony not very private, almost sharing with next door. Thin walls, sometimes noisy at night.

You need to ring up the hotel to confirm your booking if you are booking in after 8 pm. They will sell your room if you are late. Breakfast was a choice of white or brown bread, with butter or jam. Or cereal. That's it.

Overall the Hotel was in a great location, unfortunately during our stay somebody used a key card to enter our room, steal out jewellery and all our money. This included a ring with a family members ashes which is more sentimental than any amount of money. It was obvious this was a member of staff (cleaner) but unfortunately the hotel did nothing about this (from what we saw) and only apologised. We were not the only room this happened to either so this must be a regular occurrence. Other than that the hotel was fine and in a great location.

Having stayed at the hotel before we felt we knew what to expect however the balcony was really dirty but the room was adequate. It became apparent upon arrival that our room had been reallocated as we hadn't checked in during the hotels check in times despite it being all booked and paid for up front. We had to find alternate accommodation for our first night which put a real dampener on our holiday. We should have emailed or called to confirm we would arrive out with the hotels booking times as is the hotels policy. We won't be back as there are many other hotels in the area which is well worth a visit.

The hotel is close to beach, great location. Near restaurants, supermarket, bars and clubs.

It was a good stay. The staff were amazingly helpful especially Ines on Front desk who arranged a boat tour for us and Ludgero on the bar. The rooms were dated not regularly serviced but if you look past it, it's a really nice hotel as it does the job. Overall, the hotel does need work, that's evident but after a few days you get accustomed to it. The breakfast view is amazing, staff friendly, overall good stay.

We've booked the sea view room for 6 nights. The hotel is well located, and the view is amazing. The room was enough big with some storages and a balcony. The bathroom wasn't good at all and was looking old and dirty. The wifi wasn't good at all neither. The hotel is still a good value for money.

Arrived at the hotel at 1.30am, after being reassured there would be someone to check us in there was no one to be seen, we waited 1hr and 30 mins for reception guy to turn up There are no facilities in the room and the hotel only does a scraggy breakfast but was told strictly no food or drinks in the room, only water. Beds are really uncomfortable and the one pillow you get is like a wafer. Room was like a sauna, no air con or fan Bedding not changed in the week I was there There are 56 steps up to hotel entrance, no lift Would stay there again
