Super 8 by Wyndham Des Moines

I got to the property to check in and it is not an operating hotel. There was nobody in the lobby. There was no computers or anything on the desk. There was just homeless looking people walking in and out of the motel with no sign of kidney Worker.

Room was horrible paint was a mess mouse trap in the hallways and smelled horrible Went to cancel our stay as we were not sleeping there and the worker asked us why we were canceling and laughed to himself and said was it super 8?! And canceled our stay and apologized but went back all weekend to get money back and nobody was at the desk or answered the phone

My booking was cancelled by the property without informing us. I messaged them around 6pm that we will check in around 9pm. We were at the property around 9:30 then they told me that they have no rooms available. The front desk said she will cancel it and it's on them, but later, we were charged and tagged as no-show. I called their numbers more than 50 times, on different times of the day, on different days, but no answer, not even a voice mail. I tried their email too but no response also.

parking sucked if you had a trailer or Rv.

Had no towels had no toilet paper room smelled really bad door keys quit working all the time staff was rude when you could find one we were told by staff that we had to purchase our own toilet paper i would not stay there ever again

It was really worst stay, the room was not clean, no trash bin available, no towels, even after complaining to front desk, they did not take any action. There was no breakfast available as well.

Had worst experience in this hotel. For check-in, I had to go to Baymont hotel which is located in same compound. Baymont staff was rude. Roms were not clean and had very bad smell. There was no one available in Super8 reception area. They shows photo of beautiful swiming pool but the swiming pool does not have any water. Also, I had breakfast included in my reservation but no breakfast was provided. Other than that, garbage was being thrown out of windows by cleaning staff. Never expected such a bad experience from Super8 which is managed by wyndhum. Also, why hotels.com is keeping such hotels in their list. It should be removed immediately from their listing. Why should any visitor/customer suffers as they trust Super8 by wyndhum and hotels.com. I give 0 ratings to this hotel. @hotels.com, pleaese take required actions and remove it from listing asap

We did not stay. It was Terrible. Smelled like pot, broken window, no one at front desk. Looked very frightening. We left and didn’t stay. Online it says that many homeless stay in the hallways. There were bags of trash in the hallways.

I could not stay there if was terrible building was dilapidated the halls were smelly there was no body at check in.
