Super 8 by Wyndham Des Moines

Run down facility. This was attached to another building. Security was an issue. Insect intrusion into building.

Super sketchy area no towels in any of the 3 rooms we had

The comfy bed and the ac felt great.

The tv that was in the room didn't work. It had no channels to watch and the remote control didn't fully work so I had to watch movies on my own devices. The carpet could use a deep clean.

Absolutely nothing!!!!

We ended up not staying. We should have never checked in. We pulled in to check in and there was 3 cops in the parking lot. I left coz where the lobby was there was no front desk. Went to go check into the baymont and found out they also run the super 8. So we checked in. And we were headed to a room where a mouse came running at us. Then we got to our room, none of the main lights would come on. I went over by the beds and noticed the windows was wide open and there was no screen on it. I tried shutting it and it wouldn't lock. Then we noticed the door connecting the two rooms was unlocked. I called the front desk and and she was gonna move me rooms. On our way back out we noticed in the hallway a bunch of Rodent feces. I finally decided we were leaving. So I told her I wasn't staying and asked for a refund. She said she would have her manager contact me. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The fact that there was one singular towel in the room. Half a roll of toilet paper AND A LIVE MOUSE. IT ALSO SMELLED TERRIBLE and the pool that is advertised is not open or in working order.

Super 8 Iowa - Total Disaster Check-in was weird, had to go to Baymont. But staff were nice, friendly even. The room was GROSS: - Mold everywhere - chairs, nightstands, you name it - Bloody/inky sheets + weird white stains that I didn't want to investigate - Dead mouse on floor, welcoming me to hell - No towels or soap - guess they expected me to bring my own? - Filthy microwave had last guest's food still in it - Room stank of mold and cigarettes - no smoking signs were a joke - Fire alarm was blocked by the only towel they managed to provide - Feces on bathroom walls - I almost vomited And to add insult to injury... - They advertised breakfast for 6am, but a sign on the door claimed it wasn't available - Management was MIA for 2 whole days - phone calls ignored This place needs serious renovation – and a cleaning crew. Zero stars.

very terrible experience...The Hotel Cancelled my flight when I arrived and didn't try to make any other accommodations to help with another Hotel and on top of all that they gave me a hard to recouping my money back

Bring your own sheets and towels. Do not book if it’s more than $30/night - it’s shelter from the elements, it’s quiet and the people (when they randomly show up) are nice but it’s an overall pretty lacking hotel experience
