Super 8 by Wyndham Des Moines

For one night I didn't expect much, to be honest. I appreciate that the staff upgraded my room. However, it wasn't cleaned. In summary, they don't have 3 stars reviews for nothing.

The room wasn't cleaned. The garbage cans were not empty, you could even see a piece of floss coming out in the bathroom. It said there was a coffee machine and other appliances in the description but only a microwave to be found. The lights from the ceiling didn't work. Bathroom appliances missing, the towels were used and I we had to bend down our knees to have a shower because there was no way of making the water come out from the shower head, only from the bathtub faucet. And for last, I found a couple of Takis inside the AC.

Wasn't even able to check in. No one at the front desk and no signs with any instructions. Apparently you need to go to the hotel next door to check in. Paid for a night that I wasn't able to use. Had to book another hotel and forfeit my money. Best to look elsewhere.

This place smells like weed and it's tucked behind a condemned building. You have to go to the nice hotel around the corner to get your card key for this dump. The AC is yellowed and hardly holding on.

I liked the everything. The room was almost completely clean, however, there were a few things a previous guest had left in the room that the staff didn't see.

I didn't like that it was difficult to know where exactly to check in at as there wasn't anything explaining where to go.

Bedding sas dirty. Facility was gross.

The front desk girl was great.She kept apologizing.

The breakfast had to be brought in and was late, and it sounds like, hmm, the majority of the time.It is late. The whole hotel is run down. The swimming pool is disgusting. The whole place needed to be remodeled or just torn down. Yes, it's that bad. I wish I could get a refund.
