Discovery Resorts – Cradle Mountain

Great location and exceptional hospitality from the staff who really take the extra steps to make you feel valued and very welcome. Terrific restaurant on site, a fabulous place to launch your Cradle Mountain adventure.

Great place to stay when enjoying the beauty of CradleMountain. Across the road from the visitor centre for easy access to the shuttle buses of the park. The cabin we had was fresh and with all of the modern amenities you need, more like a glamming experience. We also visited the restaurant and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The staff were helpful and attentive.

We were two couples sharing a 2 bedroom cabin for one night. The cabins were clean and well appointed. It was a nice touch having the heaters on before we arrived in a cold time of the year. If intending to use the restaurant book in advance to try and ensure a sitting. Overall a good place to stay that worked out well for us.

I wasn’t optimistic about our stay here but from check-in I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were really welcoming and helpful and the cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The hotel restaurant was fabulous and the happy hour in the hotel lounge a bonus. Excellent place to stay when you visit Cradle Mountain.

Our 2 bedroom (queen beds) chalet was lovely. It had a spacious lounge area, 2 small sofas, dining table, nice balcony and kitchenette (microwave, 2burner cooktop), kettle, toaster which was great and good heating in lounge and bedrooms. The beds were comfy. The lounges felt a bit hard and tired and only mirrors were in the bathroom. A decent mirror in each bedroom would be very helpful, even if it was behind the door. Staff at reception, bar and restaurant were all extremely polite and helpful.

We stayed in the Spa cottage, with a lovely view to the forest. The cottage was really cosy and the spa was a great way to end the day after exploring some of the Cradle Mountain walks. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
