AQUA Hotel Onabrava & Spa

It was a good hotel, nice stuff and a good clean room and very very delicious food!!!!. Recommend to book Premium because rooms having a different remodeling. Standard room looked more disappointed. Also, the only thing that I would like to mention is charge for water during lunch and dinner time. Cost of water is 2 euro per a small bottle, less that quarter. So, that charge for water was weird and very high and hotel doesnt not mention this aspect while you are booking full board services. We booked full board services for food and it was a big surprise that we should pay for water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Onabrava. The reception and bar areas were very spacious and bright. Very comfortable rooom. We particularly enjoyed the huge quality breakfast buffet.

Perfect for a family holiday. The hotel, facilities, food were outstanding. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is close to the train station from which you can explore neighbouring seaside towns (Blanes is worth a visit) or a day trip to Barcelona

Nice hotel, friendly & helpful staff. Plenty going on if you wish to get involved. Food choice good. In the Quieter end of town but only afew mins walk to restaurants & beach.

Nice clean, spacious room. Good range of food at all mealtimes. Lots of choice and very tasty. Enjoyed the sparkling wine at breakfast time!! Pool was busy most days and there was the usual issue of getting out early to reserve sunbeds. Good location for using the train to see other local beaches. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great experience. Welcoming staff made it even more lovely! Beach nearby, small shop round the corner for bits and bobs, market in the evening to explore, train station nearby to visit barcelona. Food is great! Huge variety and quality cuisine! pool is a great size. the spa is amazing!! highly recommend it.

Stayed here twice before with no problems. However it was different this time, and there was no loyalty or recognition that we were returning customers. Unfortunately there were very smelly drains in the bathroom of the room we were given, we were late arrivals so clearly we were given one of the worst rooms, it smelt awful. So the night porter moved us at 1.30am in morning. Later we were told we would have to move again (as the room was needed for other guests), back to the previous smelly room, by a receptionist who was unfriendly and difficult when we complained, so we had to really stand firm and insist several times on staying in the new room, as we didn't want upheaval of moving room again. Also we had checked and the smell remained in the room, despite being told it had gone, there was something clearly amiss in the hidden plumbing, as it was very clean to look at. It is apparent to us as independent travellers with Expedia, that the hotel reception staff seem to care far more about the groups of guests who come with large tour operators, as a comment was made about our replacement room being needed as part of a large group booking. Our bed was very uncomfortable and hard this time, and the pillows were squashed flat and old, also uncomfortable. Overall OK for the price - just, but did not feel valued. Nb: Barcelona airport to Santa Susanna is far, so transfers take ages and are expensive, the distance is a downside, getting to and from the airport is a stressful.

Nice modern hotel, 5 minute walk to the beach. Great entertainment for the kids, spa facilities modern. Only complaint was that buffet lunch/dinner was not warm enough. However there was an extensive range of salad available. Room was comfortable with a nice view of hills & sea. I would recommend this hotel.
