Hotel Athena

Very comfortable clean and convenient. Friendly helpful staff. Only had two meals there, one excellent the other poor.

A lovely hotel with delightful staff. Breakfast was brilliant, plenty of food to get you going for a days skiing. Dinnerr was lovely food, but a bit fish heavy.

I couldn't believe this hotel was only a 2*, the rooms are plain but very spacious and very clean, as are the bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you - they even offered to arrange for a cab to collect us at the station on the night we arrived. The restaurant serves a good continental breakfast, and the dinner menu and service is very good - with the food being excellent. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

Really good service from hotel staff, particularly the lady on front reception and the waiter in the restuarant.

Within a short walk to the gondola to Maribel. A great option instead of the high prices of staying right in the ski village.

A small, but friendly hotel ideally siuated to the Olympic lift to Meribel. After 2 visits I will certainly be returning. However, as with most hotels in Brides, the daily evening menu is limited to singles options in each course, but the breakfast is plentiful. There are several restaurants and other hotels, so you should find what you want.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Athena Hotel. The staff were charming, courteous and very helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. The chef put himself out to please the children in our party. We highly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to stay there again.

Great staff and service.

We had pre booked for 3 people. The third bed in our room (for our son) was a very uncomfortable temporary Z-Bed, my son did not sleep well. Dinner service was very slow, the food was quite nice. Breakfast service was all DIY, the single hot-drinks machine stuck in the corner caused endless queueing, again food was OK. It snowed overnight, no attempts were made to clear the carpark or the surrounding area.
