"Exceptional"

I think this is a SUPER hotel. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked. The television worked and had a baseball game on ESPN which I enjoyed. The room temperature and beds were VERY comfortable. The refrigerator kept our drinks cold. I also REALLY enjoyed their complimentary breakfast. The bananas were ripe and yummy and their sausage links were awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone visiting Charlotte County to stay at this hotel.

The staff and the hotel itself was wonderful! Big smiles for everyone and just treating us like we were friends is much more than we expected. During this difficult time, it made us aware how people are still out there trying to go that extra mile to make you comfortable and feel safe. Great Job Guys!! Next time in Port Charlotte, we will be happy to stay at your hotel!! 10 Stars in our book!!

The rooms were so clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired, but it is hard to get good biscuits and gravy during a pandemic. We had a great stay and will be back.

The room was excellent. I commend the hotel attempting to serve a hot breakfast during this COVID period, however, the equipment was not working to give a hot breakfast. The attendant did the best she could in giving a continental breakfast

"Noisy neighbors"

The staff at the Holiday Inn were awesome the problem we had was we had very noisy neighbors all night long yelling and screaming at each other called the front desk at 3:30 in the morning and they were going to check it out it got better for a little while but we didn’t sleep very well one day

Hotel smelled like Pine-sol and mildew. Check in staff were friendly. Room was old and looked it. Linen was clean. Fire alarm went off at 7:30 pm and again at 11 pm. Not a very restful stay.

"K stay but can do better "

Check in great but room want very clean. We do a bed bug check every time we stay in a room. Look like someone dumped a dark color liquid on the top of mattress. Found bed bug traps under mattress (empty). Not sure if there was a problem or preventative maintenance. Lots of random human hair all over room. Also smelled like overly strong air freshener.
