Silva Beach Hotel

We stayed at Silva Beach for 7 nights. All inclusive restaurants are averaging. The young boy and lady at La strada were very friendly. animation team tried to do their best. But there are a lot of disadvantages. First: we travelled with 3 kids. They are all small and need our protection. We reserved two connected rooms and I insisted on it. When we arrived we were informed that they did not have any connected rooms. When I told them that this is not professional, the lady from room management team called me and started to shout that I have to APOLOGISE for that word. It was first time when I saw that hotel staff waited from me apologizes for their own fault. I even don’t know how this approach to guest can be fixed. I was shocked. But had no choice because my kids did not want to move to other hotel, they were too tired. But was very disappointed. Most of staff are not friendly. No smile, no good morning. Rooms are not cleaned on time.every day I called somebody and after it they tried to send somebody. I think it is because the number of staff were smaller for that amount of guests. Cleaniless can be improved. Especially in restaurants and beach. Facilities are not enough and need to be renewed. When we asked for toothbrush, they advised to go and buy from market. It can be only 3 stars hotel.

Excellent massage by Anthony, I would recommend the spa. I got great advice about my knee problem also. Fantastic spa service

I’m not in the habit of writing reviews……. but first the bad points. Our room was in an “Annex” with terrace/garden view. It turned out to be a pokey little room complete with tiny bathroom. My garden shed would have been a better bet. The bedroom was upstairs & no kidding there was barely enough room to get round the bed. The wardrobe (only 5 coat hangers) was at top of the stairs & you had to be careful when getting your clothes out as one step back & you’d end up in a crumpled heap at the bottom of the stairs. The tv wouldn’t work but they quickly fixed it (remote problem). The tiny bathroom was a disgrace, the tiles were terrible & dated, the shower head fell to bits (quickly fixed) & your nose almost touched the door when using the loo. Facilities very poor, had to unplug the fridge in order to plug in the kettle, The tea/coffee/milk supplies were never topped up. The terrace area was a disgrace too, two wonky chairs a rickety table & rubbish view of the road……. we never used it at all. However the bed were very comfy. The hotel itself is very dated & needs a serious makeover. Some of the wooden sun beds/pool furniture were in a poor state being rotten as were some of the roof beams in the beach bar & restaurant. The plastic decking around the pool was also in a righto state. It was no fun waiting in the sun for a table at lunchtime as there was no need as tables were cleared and reset extremely efficiently. Enough, all the staff were very friendly, my thanks to Costas. & Zac. Overall, food good but a bit bland. Excellent location for the town. Personally, we won’t be going back any time soon soon.

I visited the spa for a deep massage, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and professional, creating a calm and relaxing environment. My therapist Anthony took the time to understand the areas I wanted to focus on and applied the perfect amount of pressure to release muscle tension without causing discomfort. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience with Maria during my facial treatment and massage. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The facial was gentle yet effective, leaving my skin refreshed, glowing, and deeply hydrated. The massage was just as incredible – Maria really knows how to find the right balance between relaxation and tension relief.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and returned a week ago (15/08/25). First off is a tourist tax when you arrive, we paid €140 for 14 nights which we weren’t aware off. The room was quite small but comfortable but the shower is tiny, no room for moving. The hotel is quite spread out, really has a Greek feel to it, the top pool is quiet compared to the bottom pool which has most activities, there’s no WiFi at this pool but it’s clean, plenty of beds if you get out early enough. The bar overlooking the sea has a nice breeze and Kostas may not smile much but is very good at his job. The restaurant is great, plenty of choice every night and staff are super friendly, the one thing I would have is a canopy at the entrance as you might have to queue in the searing sun for lunch. Overall we had a great time, ideally placed for a stroll into the town or along the seafront, thank you to Silva Beach, would thoroughly recommend

First impressions were great, we arrived at the hotel late, around 9.30pm, friendly staff who checked us in and informative chap who played the role of concierge (he also works in the restaurant) and took our luggage to our room, which had cold plates left out ready for us as we’d missed dinner. Our room was across the street and while dated, it was functional and cleaned every day, plus the nice touch of bottled water popped in the fridge each day too. Not the hotels fault in the slightest, but unfortunately sleep didn’t come easy with Scorpio bar at the bottom of the road and the hotel next door; music banging until the middle of the night, then the younger crews returning (loudly) early doors from their nights out. We did have an issue with the shower during our stay, which we reported to reception on our second day, we then waited a further 48 hours to report it again, but no one ever came to fix it. Top tip - if you’re in room 685, use one of your empty water bottles to hold the shower head in place, works a treat..! I particularly loved the beach bar - the breeze was amazing to cool off, and the views are stunning. The bartender Kostas made us laugh on a daily basis! The Romantic bar and lobby bar also had great staff; I don’t know how they remembered our orders when so many guests! The lady in the lobby bar was particularly lovely with our children. Drinks weren’t amazing, but there’s plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. The buffet was generally very good. Never overcrowded. Breakfast the same every morning (understandable), and generally a good variation for lunch and dinner. The meats were cooked really nicely and Greek specialities were delicious. Asian corner was fab when open too. Staff all really friendly, quickly clearing plates. But seriously, give the Maître d'hôtel a day off, poor guy…! In all honesty wasn’t a big fan of the food in the Italian or burger place - although service in the burger restaurant was second to none. Agree with previous reviews re sunbeds. We were never able to get a sunbed until mid/late afternoon and when we did it was one for four of us. It is frustrating when they’re all ‘reserved’ and no one is on them. Often I ended up sitting at a table by the beach bar so the others had somewhere to leave their stuff so they were able to go in the pool. We travelled as a family of four with a ten and eight year old, there weren’t a lot of similar age/younger children (which personally I really liked), as it’s not geared up as a full on entertainment all day hotel (which I also liked), so evenings were nice and chilled playing cards or listening to music at the bars. The location is great, a lovely walk along the seafront to the harbour/port with plenty of bars and restaurants on the way. We also took the 1.5hr tourist train which provided some nice breezy relief from the hot temperatures! There were a great selection of restaurants in the old town, so I’d highly recommend heading over there. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and I’d be tempted to come back sometime!

I had an amazing experience at the spa in Silva Beach Hotel, Crete. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the facilities were spotless and relaxing. I’d like to especially mention Anthony, my masseur, who was outstanding—very skilled, attentive, and truly caring. His massage was incredibly therapeutic and relieved my pain perfectly. I left feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you, Anthony, for your exceptional service! I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a fantastic wellness experience.
