Silva Beach Hotel

Most points previously covered in other reviews but to sum up:- Pros- Good food and drinks, staff very efficient, pools very clean and the hotel very kindly provided a lovely cake for our anniversary. Cons- Room dated with some poorly maintained furniture, rooms near the pool are noisy until midnight due to music/entertainment, infrastructure a little run down albeit I appreciate this is early in the season and works were underway painting etc. Overall this is a nice place but just needs a bit of upgrading however at the right price it is a solid choice.

This was our fifth stay at Silva beach in the last 2 years and it better than ever,it's the people that make this place where you want to keep coming back,all the staff are so friendly and can't do enough to help and advise ,food really yummy as usual ,the burger restaurant has expanded its menu to include Mexican food and this was excellent ,really good Fajitas!! The Italian restaurant has also expanded its menu and now includes a very fine sirloin steak option. Asian corner In the main restaurant is now included every day which gives you so much more choice. Entertainment is good and not at all pushy so you participate if you want. Hersonissos is a lovely location with a nice walks either side of hotel with lots of shops ,bars and restaurants at close hand. Silva beach is very clean and constant improvements are been undertaken. Overall couldn't fault the place which is why we come back as you know what you will get!

All-inclusive hotel with dated decor, back-maintenance, cleaning inconsistent, public areas look delepetated, sheets and towels not changed regularly, amenities not provided, replaced or filled up, fontein-cooldrinks, repetitive food. Beach facilities are minimal and beach is not cleaned daily. But good value for money, nice pools, good entertainment, some really good dishes in the restaurant and very friendly staff. Make sure that you know what room you are getting, very few real seaview rooms. Well-located to go to shops and harbour. Harbour is being renovated, so minimal dining facilities open there.

I stayed at the Silva Beach hotel for a week with my dad in mid-October 2025. I had not been on holiday for 12 years, so I was looking forward to it. After a 20-minute transfer from the airport, we arrived at the hotel. We were greeted by a nice receptionist and booked in straight away. We filled in a form and paid 10 euros per day per room as we expected. We were given our keycards and then taken to our rooms by a lovely porter that carried both of our cases. Our rooms were nice and clean, with tea/coffee facilities and a mini fridge with bottled water. Complimentary toiletries were provided in the shower room, also a hair dryer to use. Pool towels were provided in the wardrobe. I had a nice terrace with a table and chairs, and it was lovely to sit out there first thing in the morning with a coffee. The layout of the hotel is beautiful, set like a Creten village. I especially loved walking along the paths around the hotel! There are two swimming pools, one in the main part of the hotel and the other close the sea. Unfortunately, I cut my leg on the first day, so I didn’t go in the pools during my stay, but I did dip my toes in. We were able to find a couple of sunbeds in the sun by the main pool bar in the afternoons, but most were taken by the pool towels and no one there. The sunbeds at the swimming pool by the seafront were all taken, however you could go to the seafront where there were sunbeds available. You can’t access the sea directly, as it is mainly rocks, however there are some lovely beaches not too far away! The food at the hotel was fantastic! I tried lots of new things and enjoyed every single meal. The restaurant staff worked very hard making sure food was topped up and cleared your plates straight away. You can help yourself to drinks including tea, coffee, water, fizzy drinks and wine at stations in the restaurant. I didn’t see any fresh juice which would have made it perfect, especially at breakfast. There are two bars at the hotel. The main bar is by the pool which had a nice seating area outside, and one by reception which has a quieter feel to it. The pool bar staff were friendly and ready to take your order. One thing that did disappoint were the cocktails. They are not made with real fruit juice, but a fizzy drinks like fizzy orange/lemonade. I am not a big drinker, but I did not like the taste of most of the drinks. Instead, I drank tea/coffee available on the AL and brought the occasional frappe from the pool bar which were delicious. I wish the frappe were included in the AL, but I didn’t mind paying 2.50 euros for one a day. The cocktails were really my only downside to the hotel. All in all, we had a fantastic holiday. So much so I have booked to come back myself towards the end of April. I had such a nice stay at Silva Beach hotel and I am keen to explore more of Hersonissos!

J’adorais la plage et la mer! Mais attention avec les enfants de âge bas je ne recommande pas car le accès à la mer et pas pratique il y a beaucoup de rocher

Je n'ai pas aimé le fait de ne pas avoir obtenu ce que j'avais réservé, sur les photos et réservation on voit une chose et quand vous arrivez là bah il vous dans une autre chambre, le pire c’est quand j’ai passé à la réception de voir la responsable elle était désagréable, la explication que elle m’a donné m’a fait rire, elle m’a crié dessus encore en disant que je suis négatif et que j’ai pas raison, bon à la place de avoir 4 lits simple dans une chambre familiale et un lit double dans une autre chambre j’ai eu que une chambre familiale avec 4 lits simple et ma fille a dormi sur un lit supplémentaire inconfortable! La douche était bouché complètement on a fait la douche avec les pieds dans l’eau sale et ça j’ai pas osé à réclamer pas que l’es réclamation sont pas bienvenus dans cette établissement! Hygiène et pas du tout bon je crois que le seul il lave pas du tout juste balai et c’est tout, bref pour un hôtel à 4 étoile ça vas pas du tout!!!!!
