The animation team was absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly friendly, fun, and professional, and they truly created the amazing atmosphere around the pool and the beach. A special thanks to Nada, who was exceptionally kind, warm, and welcoming. She was one of the most important members of the team and made everyone feel comfortable. At first experience in rainesance it looked cool but when I met the animation team they take it to another level everyday different activities overall amazing I recommend it.

Paid £2,700 for a "5-Star" nightmare. Extortion, ignored medical needs, and fake promises. ​Review: When traveling with friends, I stay at 3/4-star resorts and have unforgettable experiences. With my wife, I book 4/5-star hotels for her comfort. We paid £2,700 for the Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh expecting luxury, but it was the worst holiday of my life. ​1. Room Deception & Extortion: We explicitly told reception my wife has a severe knee injury and requested a room with fewer stairs. They promised a "nice room with a view," but sent us up a steep hill with massive flights of stairs to a room facing a solid wall of another building. For two days, they brushed us off saying nothing else was available while my wife was forced to live on painkillers. On the third day, they finally offered a sea-view room but forced us to pay an extra £180 for an "upgrade" we essentially already paid for. Seeing my wife in agony, I had to pay it. It felt like extortion. (Shoutout to the one helpful evening shift lady around 6 PM, but the rest operate like money-hunting machines). ​2. Tasteless Food: The food is awful. Breakfast is identical daily, and even the omelets have zero flavor. Lunch and dinner are just as bad, and the fresh fruit was frequently past its expiration date. Despite paying £2,700 for this resort, we had to eat out or order takeaway almost every single night just to have a decent meal. Room service is also massively overpriced for items that are free at the bars. ​3. Poor Housekeeping & Packed Pools: The room sheets are too small and pop off while you sleep, revealing a disgusting mattress underneath. Housekeeping only replaced the top two pillowcases, leaving dirty ones underneath. The pools are small and badly laid out. The only decent one by the sea gets packed. Frontline pool staff work hard, but the sunbeds are cheap, uncomfortable, bent, or broken metal. ​4. Broken Golf Cart System: You wait 10-15 minutes in 40°C heat for a cart. There are two shift drivers: one is fantastic, polite, and welcoming. The other is incredibly aggressive, shouting and arguing with other drivers around blind corners with passengers onboard, which felt unsafe. Management needs to leave their air-conditioned offices to notice this. ​5. Chaotic Entertainment: The kids' show dragged on for two hours with confusing, uncoordinated games. The daytime animation staff lack professional boundaries—they are overly pushy about aqua gym and even cross lines asking guests for personal photos or social media handles. Management needs to train them on boundary respect. ​6. Mr. Kaven’s Lies: A manager named Mr. Kaven approached us by the pool for feedback. After hearing about the £180 charge and my wife’s knee, he looked us in the eye and promised a full refund of the £180 plus compensation. He then completely ghosted us. Days later, our TV broke and took 3 hours to fix. Ten minutes later, Mr. Kaven called looking for positive feedback because the TV was working! When reminded of the refund, he panicked, promised to call back immediately, and ignored us again. ​Conclusion: They only care about hunting positive reviews and brushing nightmares under the rug. They took our money, worsened my wife's medical condition, and lied to our faces. Avoid this place.

Overall this resort is definitely value for money and enjoyable. The grounds are amazingly kept, and beautiful. We got a complimentary room upgrade into a suite apartment, which was amazing. The rooms are very clean, and decorated nicely. The beds are very comfortable, and the air con is amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Daily sunglasses cleaning by the pool, always giving out cold bottles of water, room service is quick, and dining staff are very attentive. The lifeguard, Robin, at the pool bar was amazing! So friendly, always giving us new dry towels, saving our beds before breakfast, and overall so kind. Service at the bars is always quick. All the staff are always smiling and happy to help. If I was being picky, my only downfall would be the food. As a picky eater I occasionally found it hard to eat full meals, but most days were fine!
