We really enjoyed our stay 🙃! The room was clean, very spacious, and comfortable, the food was quite varied and delicious, the sea was truly beautiful, and the staff were very attentive & friendly. A special mention to the motivating Eslam from the gym 🤗 and Juninho, the one and only ping pong pro 😉, who were always in a great mood and very kind. The only minor downside was that the AC in the main building was quite strong, and we often felt cold there. Thank you, Renaissance Hotel 🤍

The hotel is outstanding. I really enjoyed the service and the hospitality. In addition, the food was really delicious with variety of options to pick from. I really want to thank Mr. Abdullah for hospitality and his support to fulfill our needs. I really recommend the hotel for everyone who want to have a unique experience and best treatment.

Large busy resort. Good Wi-Fi. Room was good with a nice bathroom and sower. Balcony with chairs and a great clothes drying rack. Stayed three nights and ate in the buffet restaurant that was busy . The food was ok - plentiful and nice variety if not fancy. Huge dessert selection which seems common at these resorts. Nice gym with four treadmills.

Di solito non metto recensioni negative, ma stavolta lo ritengo necessario. La pulizia delle camere è insufficiente. Senza entrare nei dettagli credo che ci siano degli standard da rispettare per un 5 stelle (riassetto quotidiano senza doverlo chiedere? numero di asciugamani? nastro sul wc che testimonia la pulizia almeno al primo accesso in camera? etc.). Non aggiungo altro .....

Having stayed in Naama Bay a few times we decided to stay closer to Old Sharm this time and explore Hadaba. The reviews about the steps are correct so if you have any mobility issues or your fitness is not great read on below. LOCATION Around 20 min private transfer from Antalya Airport and we used Suntrabsfers.com for around £20 return trip. Antalya airport is very busy and very slow so allow at least 3 hours for your return flight. Not too much outside the hotel but there is a supermarket if you walk right from outside the hotel. Keeping walking right for around 15mins and you get to Il Mercato which is a couple of busy streets with shops and restaurants including a McDonald’s. If you walk left you get to the end of the road and the sea plus there is a back entrance here to the hotel. There are taxis always parked outside if you need to go anywhere. About two mins in a taxi to Il Mercato (100EGP). Five mins to Old Market (100EGP-200EGP). Ten mins to Naama Bay (200EGP-300EGP). Twenty mins to Soho Square (400EGP-500EGP). ROOM Rooms are combined into different blocks all spread out around the grounds with two levels in each block. Our room was 7404 and sat between the main pool and Calimari Pool. One flight of steps took us down to the Calimari Pool and two flights up to the Main pool. Most are sea facing and a good size but don’t forget your adapters for your 3 pin plugs. A free to use safe, kettle, iron and board, water bottles every day, small fridge and a TV (never switched it on). Good size balcony with two comfy chairs and a table. Shower has decent power and water temperature was good. Entertainment was in the main reception so rooms close to here may be a bit noisy at night although the entertainment doesn’t drag on too long. WIFI Free and pretty good around most of the hotel. We walked close to the beach and still worked. POOLS There are 4 pools in total spread around the grounds: 1/ Quiet Pool - This is a medium pool located just outside the main entrance and has around 34 rooms around it. No music and no bar/snacks at this pool but great for quiet relaxing time. You can get from this area to the main reception (including main restaurant) without climbing any steps, so perfect for anyone with mobility issues. You can also go down the stairs in the main reception to the main pool or round the side of the hotel without any steps to the main pool. 2/ Main pool - Go down the stairs in the main reception and you get to the main pool. This is a large pool with a good kids area too. It was also heated in April but may not be later in the year. There are rooms close to this pool but can get quite noisy with the kids and music but ideal for families. There is also a bar area and a snack area. 3/ Calimari Pool - This is a medium size pool in between the main pool and the beach. Not too many loungers here and they got taken up quite quickly. Has drinks/snacks available and a small kids area. Takes around 5 minutes and a three flights of steps to get to the main reception/restaurant from here. You can get a room around this pool to stay fairly central to other parts of the hotel. 4/ Aqua Pool - A medium sized pool with kids area and good number of loungers. Furthest from main reception (quite a few stairs) but close to the beach. Ideal if you want to spend more time at the beach. 4/ Beach Area - A good amount of space here with plenty of loungers and also a Dive centre. Didn’t use this much so not sure about drinks/snacks. FOOD The main restaurant is in the main reception building. We were all inclusive and it was okay, usual hotel food. Breakfast for us was mainly fried eggs or omelettes along with pancakes. It did the job. Lunch and dinner were okay too but we ate out most evenings. They did a themed dinner night most nights so something for everyone. Restaurant service was good, they kept tables ready so no queues. There’s two À la carte restaurants which you can book once during your stay. The menus didn’t look great though so we passed on these. GYM/SPA There is a small limited gym and a SPA. We used the SPA for massage, pedicure and hair wash/blow dry. Not far off UK prices but you need to tell them exactly what you need. If you need a real deep medical massage ask for Amy the Thai masseuse. STAFF Can’t fault them. Even the ones with limited English made an effort to say hello. Most do have a good enough level of English though and are always happy to help. BUGGY SERVICE There are golf buggies constantly driving around so if you need to get around the hotel without the steps you can jump on one of these. They have dedicated ’Buggy Stops’ or they will stop for you or you can call them from your room telephone. These take you from reception to your room to the beach and the other way too. A great service and really useful if you struggle with climbing lots of steps. OVERALL A great hotel with a village feel. Ideal for couples and families and easy access to most other areas of Sharm. Think of the steps as a cardio activity! We are in our fifties and fairly active and did feel it in our legs but got used to it. There’s also a shop in the hotel which’s sells most things if you don’t fancy wandering out and a cash machine too. Mosquitoes weren’t too bad but we did take room plugs, bands and sprays with us.
