Hakumini a la Cart Restaurant und den Golf Platz und die dazu gehörige Bar der Golf Lehrer auch sehr nett danke an Sammy der deutschsprachige Golf Lehrer der meinem Mann die Platzreife mit Zertifikat ermöglicht hat . Der Turm gegenüber auch totales Highlight mit Dj Sundowner einfach der Hammer top Musik . Etwas nervig wegen Massagen und hohe Preise . Bootsüberführer von Lagune zum Golf Platz immer sehr höflich top👌🏻

Wir waren im Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna und insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in Ordnung, aber mit gemischten Eindrücken. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir vor allem das À-la-carte-Restaurant „Hakumini“ (japanisch/Sushi). Das war wirklich top und hat unseren Urlaub ehrlich gesagt gerettet – Qualität, Service und Ambiente waren auf einem ganz anderen Niveau. Auch die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg sehr freundlich. Besonders Karam im Service war hervorragend, und Tarek (deutschsprachig) war ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit, vor allem beim Transfer zum Golfplatz. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des Hotels ist insgesamt in Ordnung, jedoch darf man hier keinen echten Luxusstandard erwarten. Gerade beim Essen (Buffet abends und Frühstück) waren wir enttäuscht. Wir waren bereits in mehreren Hotels und Restaurants in El Gouna, und dort war die Qualität deutlich höher und der Service gehobener. Hier wirkt vieles eher standardmäßig. Einige Kritikpunkte: • Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig (Geräusche vom Flur, Kinder etc.) • Viele Mücken im Zimmer • Organisation über App (z. B. Handtücher/Zahnbürste) eher unpraktisch • Service an der Rezeption teilweise wenig engagiert • Kein originaler Alkohol an den Bars • Beach-Bar und Snacks eher einfach (Sandwiches trocken, nichts Besonderes) Was wir ebenfalls schade fanden: Abends ist kaum etwas los. Die Shows enden bereits gegen 20:30 Uhr, danach gibt es keine wirkliche Unterhaltung mehr. Hier wäre es schöner, das Abendprogramm zeitlich anders zu gestalten. Fazit: Für Gäste, die ein solides Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis suchen und weniger Wert auf Luxus legen, ist das Hotel absolut okay. Wer jedoch gehobenen Standard, exzellentes Essen und mehr Abendunterhaltung erwartet, sollte sich eventuell nach Alternativen umsehen. Das Highlight war ganz klar das Hakumini Restaurant – das können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. An der Rezeption nicht so auf Zack der Junge Mann etwas Schläferig aber ok 😊

This hotel does not respect confirmed reservations. My bookings were cancelled on the same day of arrival under a false claim, and I was left to deal with the situation myself. The worst part is that I was later asked to book again at a higher price. This kind of behavior damages trust completely. I would not recommend relying on a confirmed booking here. Update after they reply: Thank you for your response, but I must respectfully clarify that this explanation is not accurate. The cancellation was attributed to a “credit card authorisation issue”. However: My bank confirmed that no authorisation attempt was ever made The same card was successfully used immediately after I also have a recorded call with your reservations manager confirming that the cancellation was due to a pricing error, not a card issue This directly contradicts the explanation provided in your reply. I would appreciate if the hotel could provide a transparent and consistent explanation of what actually happened, as this situation caused significant inconvenience and financial loss

Amazing facility and staff were great

Our stay at Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless, relaxing, and genuinely luxurious. The food was a standout throughout the entire stay. Every meal offered a great variety, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a mix of international and local Egyptian dishes. Whether it was the breakfast spread, poolside lunches, or dinner buffets, there was always something new to try—and everything was consistently delicious. The drinks were just as impressive. The cocktail selection was excellent, with well-made classics and refreshing options perfect for the warm weather. Service at the bars was quick and friendly, and the overall quality was far better than what you typically expect at a resort. When it came to entertainment, the resort struck the perfect balance. There was always something happening in the evenings—live music, relaxed shows, and a great atmosphere—but it never felt over the top or intrusive. It added to the experience without taking away from the calm, laid-back vibe of the resort. Overall, Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna delivers on every level. Beautiful surroundings, amazing food and drinks, and just the right amount of entertainment make it a place we’d absolutely return to and highly recommend.
