"Extremely disappointed."

In the early hours in morning, we were awoken by an extremely loud crash on our first-floor terrace. Upon investigation, we discovered that a large piece of masonry with steel bars in it had fallen from the 5th floor, landing directly where I had been sunbathing the previous day on our terrace. The impact shattered the top of the glass partition separating the terraces and also dislodged a fixed light fixture, the rubble was strewn all over the terrace . This was not only extremely distressing, but potentially life-threatening. Had we been on the terrace at the time, it could have caused serious injury or death. This severely affected our holiday having to subsequently moved room 3 times in 1 week. There was no good will gesture whatsoever offered from the hotel and on our return we have liaised through booking.com with the only compensation we have received being the price difference between the rooms we were moved to due to the dangerous conditions of our original room! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Make sure to get a “sea” view if you can! There is one person who made our experience exceptional, and her name is Matilde. She is the bartender and made our stay special and unique! Hotel is a great location, walkable!!

rates a higher grading more a 4 star . all staff are 5 star. special thanks to aline and pieter who made our stay memorable. must also say all staff have customer satisfaction at the heart of their service. ideal location and excellent views. no hesitation in recommending this hotel and hope to visit again in the future
