Great stay , amazing room on the 5th floor with a balcony overlooking the Promenade Des Anglais , worth the upgrade . Very welcoming staff both on reception and at breakfast . Worth more than the 3 star it is . Will be back .

We enjoyed our stay, at Le Royal . Staff was very friendly . Room was comfortable and we loved our terrace with ocean view . Only complaint we would have is the room carpet was dirty , but that did not take away from our stay .

Perfect location with a spectacular Sea view. Sahar, who is the assistant manager was very pleasant, professional, thoughtful and accommodative. The trip for my daughter and I was a birthday excursion in the French Riveria. We checked-in early and Sahar and staff were very accommodative and allowed us to keep our luggages in safe place until time to check in while we took advantage of a French brunch / pastries around the corner. Coming back, Sahar and staff surprised us with a thoughtful birthday balloons, card and chocolate when entering our room and started our birthday trip with a great vibe. Furthermore, the staff particularily Pieter and Alime were amazing, courteous, very pleasant and their services was just what we needed for starting our memorable trip. Alime suggested we also include do Eze Village in our plan and we were simply in awe and glad we included it as opposed to just doing Sea view which we got to do all over the French Riveria. The room at Le Royal was clean and has enough amenities. I can’t say enough about how nice the staff had been. We will definetly go back to Le Royal as they made us feel very welcomed and pampered us. The only con I will mention is that we didn’t get to have fresh towels our last day. From reviews I read, it doesn’t seem to be an exception and has happened to few other guests and hope they get to correct that. Otherwise, Le Royal is an amazing location walking distance to main attractions, city, restaurants and walking and having the Sea view daily is simply spectacular. Please say hello to the wonderful staff, Sahar, Pieter and Alime. Amazing team which I hope to get to see again! Date of visit: September 2025

Great hotel on the promenade, loved the ocean view! The historic area and a pedestrian street offered great walking, dining and shopping opportunities. The staff was very helpful!

We stayed in a room with a terrace. The view was terrific and the climate spectacular. We only had breakfast in the hotel once and it was more than adequate: scrambled and soft boiled eggs, bacon, sausage and ham slices, fruit, yogurt, breads, coffee machine for different types. There was a special four day event on the beach near the hotel that played thumping Euro music until 2:30am so I would check for events before booking. The only bad thing was that the room above us had a balcony and they would smoke on that and drop ashes and cigarette butts down onto our chairs and towels which is forbidden. However, though we reported it to the front desk every day, it continued for six days. The front desk personnel are wimps.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Royal Hotel in Nice. It’s close to the airport (15 minute by Uber). The staff were helpful. Pietre gave good suggestions to our friends who had special interests. The location was perfect for our desires, being right across the street from the beach and close to the Old Town area full of shopping and good restaurants. For those looking to do day tours to other towns on the Riviera, Nice was a great spot as a home base. The in-house restaurant was slightly overpriced so we found other spots close by for drinks and dinner. The hotel is slightly older with many renovations that will need updating in the future. Our only issue was that the air conditioning was not functioning, which was not addressed by the staff when we brought up the issue. Overall a great stay

Allover very satisfied,- but the Music from the Beach is just too much until 01.30 friday to sunday. On 3rd floor the base is really loud even the Doors closed

Breakfast could have been better with a wider selection of hot food.
