Casa Velas Adults Only All Inclusive

Casa Velas blew us away. The resort itself is beautiful, but the staff is what makes it unforgettable. Avelos and Ramón at the pool bar were the absolute best — fun, welcoming, and always going the extra mile. They brought so much energy to the pool every day and made us feel genuinely taken care of. Daniel at Emiliano also made our stay. He gave us a super fun wine tasting and handled all our dinner chaos with a smile. Truly such a great guy. Over at Táu Beach Club, Carlos made the experience next level. He always had our favorite cabana ready, kept us stocked with champagne, and made sure we were good the whole time. Just incredible service. Overall, we loved Casa Velas and Táu. Can’t recommend them enough — the staff is what really makes the trip.

Casa Velas is the perfect adults-only, all-inclusive small boutique resort for people who want a quiet and relaxing holiday. The attention to detail there was amazing, from the beautiful landscaping everywhere on the property to the delicious food presented at both the main Emiliano and Tau Beach Club restaurants to the thoughtful way that all the staff took care of us. We were even able to request specific times when we wanted the daily housekeeping and nightly turndown service to be done, which made it easier to plan our days and evenings. We enjoyed spending most of the day at the Tau Beach Club, returning to the larger pool at the main resort site later in the afternoon. The flat beach near the Tau Club was easily walkable, although the surface tended to heat up in the afternoon, but we were able to quickly scoot over the hot part to walk along the edge of the waves. There was a shuttle service that ran regularly for the short 5-minute ride between the resort and the beach club all day, giving us the best of both worlds. We ate most of our dinners at the beach club where we could watch the sunset and hear the waves. The food was excellent at both restaurants, with lots of variety on the menus. The one thing that we noticed at the Tau Beach Club is that they sell day passes to groups who aren’t staying at Casa Velas, so it can sometimes get busy there for finding chaises, although the staff will go out of their way to accommodate you. The only issue for us was that these groups didn’t always respect the rules about no smoking/vaping and tended to be people who were more boisterous than those of us who were guests at Casa Velas wanting to have a quieter experience. We recognize that it can be challenging to the staff to balance these two very different kinds of guests. Otherwise, we had a fabulous time staying at Casa Velas and have already booked another holiday there for early in the new year! Shout Outs to all of the staff, including the following: Armando the very dependable and personable shuttle driver between the main resort and the Tau Beach Club; Omar, Camila, Alfredo, Fernando, Rocio, and Daniel at the Emiliano restaurant; Enrique, Erick, Leslie, and Carlos at Tau Beach Club; Alonso, Victoria, and Sarah at the front lobby reception; Avalos serving at the main pool; Ramona our daily housekeeper who kept the room beautifully clean and well supplied, along with who came in to do the nightly turndown service (I think that her name started with an “N”). You’re all wonderful!!!

The property was exceptionally maintained. Food and drink was wonderful. The staff were “over the top” especially Alvalos, Rosio, Eduardos, Jesus, Omar, Camilla, Escarletta, Armando, Alex, Freddie, Ophelia to name a few. Everyone, all staff, made the experience welcoming. Enjoyed the escape!

Spoiled by great service. Victoria was there when we arrived and showed us to our room with great care and attention to detail. We cannot say enough about the staff at Casa Velas. The pool bar guys Avalos, Ramon, Rashid, and Antonio exceed all expectations they know how to make a person relax and feel good. The restaurant crew of Ulises, Omar, Daniel, Rosario, Alfredo, Leonardo and Camila make you feel at home while be served wonderful meals from the kitchen. They make sure everything is to your liking. Freddy the lobby bar man always greats you with his wonderful smile and is a fantastic bartender. 5 star resort with 5 star service. The beachclub meals were also wonderful. We also had dinner at Frida at Grand Velas which we would highly recommend. We will be back and would not think twice about recommending to anyone.

Me and my fiancé had an amazing time visiting Casa Velas for our friend’s wedding. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept and the resort was a quick drive from the airport. The check-in process was seamless and we felt extremely welcome right away. Our room had everything we needed and was stocked/cleaned daily and had everything we needed and more! When it came to drinks and dining we were extremely well taken care of and I would like to shoutout Avalos, Ulises, and Ramon for ensuring we always had a refreshing drink and remembering our preferences to put a personal touch on the service. Avalos even went above and beyond at the VIP bar service after the wedding, continuing his immaculate service and welcoming personality! We will definitely be returning to Casa Velas due to our wonderful experience and beautiful grounds. It was a vacation to remember!

We had a wonderful visit for my best friend’s wedding. Although there were some issues with our reservation the staff was able to secure our room and ensure we had an excellent time. The food was fantastic and I never had a drink I didn’t like (or finish). The location is spectacular, every inch of the resort is surrounded by gorgeous scenery and architecture. The best part of the stay was hands down the service staff, who accommodated us with a the biggest smiles on their face, made countless jokes, and made the journey absolutely priceless. Avalos, Ulises, and Ramon, Carlos specifically were dedicated to taking care of us. Working around the clock from bartending the after-party, to handing out mimosas the next morning at breakfast, and sweating their butts off as we lay out and enjoy their massive pool. Avalos in particular made a special connection with our group and we would highly recommend he take care of all VIP parties.

The staff treat you like family. Ramon, Avalos and Ulises were the best! Amazing service! They take such good care of you at the pool and make you never want to leave!

Top notch experience! The resort staff (Avalos, Ulyses, Erick, Daniel, Jesus to name only a few) are quite amazing and really make the experience. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best and most relaxing time, which is very much appreciated:) Love this place!

We have loved Casa Velas for many years! So many staff members from our very first visits still make our experience wonderful each time we visit- Jesus, Avalos, Ulises, Ramon, Erick, Enrique - we are always happy to see these fabulous staff and friends year after year!
