Casa Velas Adults Only All Inclusive

Ulises and the whole staff were amazing, very friendly. I recommend this for couples who need an escape. The food was pretty good.

We had a fantastic time at Casa Velas for the day. It's a beautiful setting and very peaceful. The service provided by Avalos was unmatched and truly made our experience the best. Would definitely recommend.

Having never been to an all inclusive resort this was such a treat! I loved our room, we had a little plunge pool on our patio that was nice to sit in and room service was quick and friendly. I would say the only problem for me was some of the food, it felt like you had to find the few things on the menu that were really good (the quesadillas and the tacos), but everything else like the desserts were pretty disappointing to me. The highlight of course was the service and the waitstaff. The main ones to help us were Avalos and Antonio. They were so incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. I can't give these guys enough of a shout out, they made our trip perfect and made us want to come back! Over all it was a great experience and a big thank you to the staff.

Had an amazing week at Casa Velas. From check in to check out was superb service. All of the concierges were amazing. Jesus who served in Emilano Restaurant and at the lobby bar was great. Avalos and Ulises at the pool bar were excellent. Every one on the team really was awesome. The food was delicious at every location. Live music everyday was so enjoyable. Beautiful beach club a very short shuttle or walk away. The bedroom and bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. I will definitely return.

This was our 7th stay at Casa Velas in PV and if you’re looking for high quality service and a beautiful quiet vacation this is the place to stay. Staff is amazing from the main restaurant, Daniel, Omar, Rosi and Gerardo to the staff at the main pool, Alvalos, Antonio and Ramon. We were always greeted by name and treated like Family. The access to the Beach is at the beach club pool and restaurant where the staff of Enrique, Erik, Carlos, Antonio and Leslie treated us amazingly each day we were there. If you are looking for an amazing quiet place to relax with top quality food and service this is the place to stay, even though the main resort is not directly on the beach the beach club gives you the access you are looking for. Casa Velas never disappoints us and we will be back again next year.

Casa Vellas is a very special adults only resort. While it is All Inclusive (which is a bit more expensive since covid) it is well worth it. No Smorgasbord's, only A La Carte and top quality food and service. All allergies, vegan etc catered for. Room service for every meal should you so desire. Also set with a background of the local golf course.

We recently returned from a 9-night stay at Casa Velas, just in time for the onset of our (very) cold Canadian winter. This was our 3rd visit in 3 years to Puerto Vallarta and this beautiful resort. And once again we were so impressed! Where to begin … well first of all the hotel and grounds are lovely and beautifully maintained to a very high standard by the hard-working staff behind the scenes. It is clear that everyone from the always helpful (and very patient!!) Concierges and Front Desk staff, Emiliano’s waitstaff (a special thank you to Daniel for his professionalism … and his great sense of humour), and the very talented Chefs, to Housekeeping, Maintenance and Groundskeeping all take great pride in their work. And it was so nice to return and see so many familiar faces, including, of course, the much beloved Freddy! The hotel’s pool area offers plenty of comfortable loungers and sun beds, a varied food menu (including excellent fish tacos and quesadillas), and the Pool Bar staff are very attentive (thanks to Alvaros also for his wicked sense of humour). In keeping with the entire resort the pool area is kept in pristine condition with the water kept at a comfortable temperature. Casa Velas also offers a very well-equipped gym with top-of-the-line LifeFitness equipment. A massage treatment at the resort’s beautifully appointed Spa was absolutely lovely, calming and rejuvenating. The Beach Club of course was a favorite destination, with an infinity pool that has a gorgeous view overlooking the ocean, and a long walkable beach; and again, many familiar friendly faces amongst the Club staff. The Club menu is excellent, whether you’re there enjoying the Club during the day, or taking in the beautiful sunset over a delicious dinner. While the hotel offers a shuttle to and from the Club , it’s a short 10-15 minute pleasant stroll at best, so many times we just chose to walk there and back. The resort’s close proximity to the vibrant heart of Puerto Vallarta itself is ideal, Puerto Vallarta is a very interesting and welcoming city with a rich history, and an excursion on your own or with an organized tour is highly recommended. We’d had a hectic year and were looking for somewhere we could just get away to and totally relax for a couple weeks. This resort had a lot of very positive reviews and we thought it sounded well suited to what we were looking for. All I can say is it exceeded our expectations. One of the most peaceful relaxing places we’ve ever got lucky enough to visit. The staff were stellar. Esmaralda in Concierge (as well as others) were always there to answer our questions and help us out. Daniel, Jesus and Rocio in evenings at the restaurant were most attentive and always smiling. The bar staff – great service and some creative mocktails that my wife loved. The musicians that played so beautifully during breakfasts, late afternoons and during dinner. The drivers (Alex and others) that shuttled us back and forth to Tau Beach Club and Velas Vallarta, the room attendants who kept our room spotless, the grounds staff, and on and on – all deserve praise. The location may not be on the beach, but in some respects that contributes to its peacefulness. It’s easy enough to get there by foot or shuttle when you want to and the Beach Club is adults only. The resort pool is beautiful and there were always lounge chairs in either sun or shade. It’s also a relatively short walk to the Marina with its many restaurants, bars and shops and a thriving Thursday night market. The quality of the food at Casa Velas was excellent and exceeded anything we have experienced at any other of the many all-inclusive resorts we have been to over the years. While the menu was fixed, there were specials most nights and these proved to be great. As well they seem to be very willing to make changes and additions to suit individual tastes/dietary requirements. We had the good fortune to meet Chef Irving who provided a very special meal on our final evening. If you want greater variety - Tau Beach Club serves lunch and dinners can be booked there as well most nights or you can go to any of the restaurants at Velas Vallarta. We even did one dinner at the French restaurant in Grand Velas in Riviera Nayaryit. Our room was spotless, large and had a very comfortable bed. In addition, we had our own private plunge pool which was a very relaxing place to spend the afternoon. We actually brought a small floating lounger which was perfect for the pool. Our only problem now is deciding when to go back. We met several people who have been coming there for years and we’re planning to join them as repeat clients.

We were so impressed with our 10 night stay at Casa Velas. We loved the hotel layout, our room, the pool and of course the Spa. The food was excellent, as was the Tau Beach Club. But above all this was the staff, especially Rosio, Alvolos, Freddie, Erik and so on. We are so looking forward to our next visit in 2026.
