Front desk lady was rude

It was nice . Rooms are a little outdated

Very convenient area. Great places to eat very close by. Not far from beach or military base. Overall it was a nice hotel, breakfast was included. Comfy beds. Indoor pool. Small airport close by too ☺️

Very nice hotel and in a quiet location. Rooms are clean and well kept by the hotel staff. Breakfast is good with plenty of food available. Very quick check-in at the front desk. There is plenty of options for food and beverages across the street and an Olive Garden in front of the hotel. The only drawback is the lack of a convenience store within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel was very convenient and the room was great. The only concern was that there could have been more lighting in the room. The jewel of our stay was Amy! She was so personable that she made us feel special from check in until checkout! She was on top of all our questions, and her suggestions were spot on! We will certainly stay at this Comfort Inn again!

It was a real pleasure to meet Amy at the front desk. She was a joy, greeting us with a smile and a song. The bed was super comfortable.

My stay was overbooked without notice!

We live in Newport News and booked a 2 day stay for pool use! When we got there the front desk personnel told us that they were having issues with the pool temperature of being cold for 5 days already and their website is still offering the pool amenities and she said she got a lot of complaints already from customers about the pool being too cold! My point is they should have removed the pool amenity as part of their hotel services so NOT to give customers a false information and are hesitant to give a refund so we can find another hotel to stay in where there is a functional heated swimming pool! The other hotel (Marriot) we’ve booked prior to this had issues with the pool too but had a very good customer satisfaction and staff very considerate because it is the pool that we wish to use because it is my son’s spring break and he just wants to have fun using the pool since it was a fault on their end, they issued a refund without any hassle. I have stayed here for a couple of times but NEVER again because of poor customer satisfaction with failed offered facility!!! I live only 5minutes from here and let that staff understand that we were just there for the pool but she refused giving us consideration and had 2 expedia staff including myself a hard time for a refund. I did not get her name but she was the staff member working last 4/22/25 at 5pm. Wasted money, never again in this hotel for me, my family and friends!!!!! And hopefully most of you reading this!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

The staff is very friendly and want to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. I enjoy the professionalism at this hotel.
