Grand Hotel Flora

We just spent 5 nights at Grand Hotel Flora and I’m still not over it. If you’re looking for that classic Amalfi Coast charm with flawless service, book this place now. Almost completely renovated, with a modern and charming style in shades of green and dark blue. Large, well-maintained pool, excellent breakfast. The entire hotel staff is impeccable. We’ll 100% be back. If you want a stay that feels like a movie scene, this is it.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel in Sorrento. The location was perfect, the rooms were new and comfortable, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I am from Luxembourg and truly appreciated the warm Italian hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento and hope to come back again in the future!

Schönes Hotel, sauber, gute Ausstattung.

Frühstück ist leider qualitativ von den Produkten nicht einem 4 Sterne Hotel entsprechend. Service beim frühstück langatmig. Außerdem zu viele Menschen im Frühstücksraum, dieser war meistens überfüllt. Tv Programm war in einem der beiden Zimmer nicht in deutscher Sprache verfügbar, wurde trotz Reklamation nicht behoben. Das entspricht ebenfalls keinem 4 Sterne Hotel. Die Lage des Hotels ist zwar zentral, aber die Strasse mit der Verkehrslage ist eigentlich unzumutbar.

Our stay at Hotel Flora was absolutely exceptional. The hotel has been recently renovated and everything feels brand new, elegant, and incredibly well designed. The interiors combine modern style with the authentic charm of Sorrento, creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The service was outstanding throughout our entire stay. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel cared for in every detail and were always available with recommendations and support. Breakfast was another highlight of the experience: fresh, abundant, and beautifully presented every morning. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, with a perfect mix of local products, pastries, fresh fruit, and savory options. The combination of beautiful design, impeccable hospitality, and the freshness of a newly renovated property makes this hotel truly special. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Flora was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful view. The hotel’s location is perfect — close to the center of Sorrento while still being peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The pool area and common spaces were also very well maintained and elegant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Sorrento. We will definitely come back!

We had such an incredible stay here and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Sorrento. We stayed in the Junior Suite with sea view, and it was absolutely worth it, waking up every morning overlooking the sea especially right now with the regatta in may out on the water was so special, and at night the lights over the sea created the most magical atmosphere. The hotel itself is beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and so thoughtfully designed. As a design lover this was so special to us. Everything felt elegant, fresh, and incredibly comfortable, with that perfect mix of design and authentic elements. It was such a breath of fresh air and instantly made us feel relaxed. It’s like stepping into a new version of design in the Amalfi coast. Can’t wait to be back.

I wish I could give a higher rating because we had high hopes for our stay at the Hotel Grand Flora, however, expectations were not met. We decided to treat ourselves for three nights by booking a Junior suite at €649 per night. When we got to our room - which was spotless and lovely - we found that the television did not work and the refrigerator did not work and we reported this to them on the first night. They attempted to fix things, but the refrigerator never worked. These could be overlooked, but - there was also major roof renovating going on, so each morning - except Sunday - we were awoken by thumping and drilling to the point where dust would fall down on the tables in our room and we were not able to sit out on our balcony. For this price I feel this was unacceptable. They either should have made the rooms unavailable during this time or given a steep discount - or - they should have - at the very least - warned guests so that you could have the option of not booking. I felt they owed us at least one night's stay taken off of the bill. Instead they took about €100 off of a €2000 bill. Our friends stayed in one of the regular rooms for half the price and experienced a better room. I would not stay again at these prices.
