Grand Hotel Flora

Stayed here recently for 7 nights . The hotel has undergone serious refurbishment so none of the pictures reflect the true hotel which has obviously been renovated to a very high standard throughout. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the pool and it was stunning. Very modern with brilliant AC to keep the room cool and a lovely balcony to sit put on and enjoy the views . Only small criticism we had was with the breakfast. For some reason the waiter takes your coffee order and serves it to you at the table. We found like others around us that the coffees where coming out cool with no way of adding hot water to them. We like others asked for the coffees to be made extra hot but still only received lukewarm coffees. There should be a coffee station as part of the buffet even just for americanos but the system seems to be that you have to ask for hot drinks. The food itself was a selection of 6 hot items which where often cold or lukewarm even if you where one of the first down and we only really used the buffet if we where heading out for the day on a tour. Another small criticism we had was the pool area had no umbrellas or shade except for one orange tree !! . Maybe later on in the season they have umbrellas out but it was in the high 20’s deg when we where there so an umbrella would have been welcome. All in all we had a great stay at the hotel the location is perfect and the hotel itself is stunning and we wouldn’t hesitate about booking it again if we ever returned to Sorrento

My stay at Grand Hotel Flora was simply magnificent. From the very first moment, I felt welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism by the wonderful reception staff, whose elegance and kindness immediately made me feel like a valued guest. The recent renovation of the hotel is absolutely stunning. The interior design has been curated with refined taste: sophisticated, modern, yet perfectly harmonious with the timeless charm of Sorrento. Every space reflects beauty, comfort, and attention to detail. One can truly feel that every element has been thoughtfully chosen. The swimming pool area is breathtaking — elegant, relaxing, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by a serene atmosphere that makes every moment unforgettable. It is the perfect place to unwind in complete luxury. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable. Every room, every common area, every corner was maintained to the highest standards, something I deeply appreciated. The bar and dining area were equally exceptional. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care and professionalism. The ambiance was refined yet welcoming, creating an experience that felt both luxurious and authentic. What impressed me most is that at Grand Hotel Flora, every detail truly makes the difference. Excellence here is not only visible — it is felt in every gesture, every smile, every carefully designed space.
