Hampton Inn and Suites Waxahachie

I showed up the evening before the young girl at the desk informed me that I booked two rooms. It should’ve only been one. I used book.net. I was charged for both rooms was told I was gonna get reimbursed. They chose not to reimburse me however you look at it I got charged for two rooms only used one and was told conflicting stories. I would never use this hotel again nor booked.net.

Was expecting the kind of room I’m used to getting. This room had only a small desk, no end table with lamp, no coffee table, just a big , unfriendly open space. General manager said that Hilton is taking furniture out of rooms and emptiness is the new look. I will be looking at other hotels.

Breakfast Lady is Awesome. Black lady Carletta. Made me feel like my mom was feeding me Breakfast. What a perfect employee

I loved everything except not being told they were renovating before we booked.

Daytime staff were friendly & courteous. Evening check-in staff did not disclose $50 pet fee. Construction/tile work was going on by front desk and breakfast area and there was lots of dust in the air.

The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and the pool and hot tub are nice.

It is currently going through renovations so the lobby was a little “torn up” and noisy during the morning and day, but I wasn’t there during the day so it really didn’t affect me. The lobby will look really nice once the renovations are complete. It was very quiet at night though.

They had a remodeling work going on. Trash was everywhere! Very noisy. If I had known about remodeling, I would have stayed at somewhere else! So unfair and disappointing!

They need to disclose that they are under construction.
