Da Vinci's Hotel Derry

Nice hotel but much farther outside Derry than we realised. Breakfast was poor and very dried out but breakfast staff were nice and helpful. Lift not working was annoying as we were on the 3rd floor. Bar food very average. Room was fine. Expensive for what it was we felt

The hotel itself was in a nice building. The check-in staff were literally non-existent. When we found someone it was disorganized. We stayed for dinner and I’d rate that a 2 out of 5. If you want deep fried and extremely oily food, eat there. Service was a zero out of five. They bring you an empty water glass with nothing to drink. The whole dinner experience was stomach turning. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. But with a large party down the hall, I wondered if they focus more on events than the sleeping experience of their hotel guests. The checkout staff were warm and friendly.

Huge bedroom with sink and full size fridge. Bed was large and comfy. Shower/bathroom was new and spotless. Great spacious breakfast dining too. No rush for a table. Wish i was staying longer

Lovely hotel

On arrival we were disappointed in our room - window was blocked completely by what appeared to be a huge aircon thing immediately outside the window totally blocking all light. We returned to reception to request a different room and happily they obliged, so they get points for that. We headed out to walk the Walls, and it wasn’t far to walk along the riverside to the city. We dined in the bar/restaurant both nights because the food was v.v.good, and service bright & friendly. Enjoyed the easy parking, lift access for heavy bags and good supermarkets nearby. Very enjoyable stay at Da Vinci’s !

9 of us stayed under the sunday escape package. It was amazing value and brilliant quality. Lovely clean and modern rooms, welcoming staff, great cocktails and beautiful, tasty food. Macey was especially helpful and friendly in the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing.

Excellent stay at Da Vinics. Food in restaurant and breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and a lovely room. Only downside was work( construction) going on outside so a lot of noise the next morning.

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting the Open and also exploring Derry and venturing into Donegal. We paid a lot for b&b, probably due to dynamic pricing, but overall were happy. Staff were welcoming and helpful and our room was a good size, with a seating area and table and chairs. One day the room had clearly not been vacuumed and we had to ask for tea and milk to be replaced, which was disappointing, but overall we liked the accommodation. Breakfast was a straightforward buffet - a greater variety than melon and grape in the fruit salad would have been nice! Free car parking and a large Sainsbury's nearby, which was useful. Walking into the city is possible, but a fair way along a busy road.

Location, staff: great. The bar and restaurant are really lively which is good if you want to stay on site. Room: second floor with view at the back of the kitche, which meant a really noisy area; noise until 2am and no ac so really warm room! We stayed 3 nights, asked to move room but couldn’t.

The hotel was clean. The building felt kind of like a dorm. Could be updated. Breakfast was supposed to be included and ready at 7. When we got downstairs they said they had issues and it wouldn’t be ready until after 830 if even then. We couldn’t wait around due to our schedule. The room was hot, very hot. No AC
