Da Vinci's Hotel Derry

The website showed water views and a lovely outside area. This hotel is in an industrial area with views of huge storage silos. It has a noisy bar scene so you cannot open the windows for fresh air because the smoke and noise fills your room AND it has no air conditioning!! We couldn’t wait to leave the next morning.

At bar on 12th July weekend sweltering heat 3 BAR STAFF ON not their fault they worked their socks off place flat out the owners need to sort staffing shortage out 3 staff on a Sunday Bank Holiday weekend !!

Very good value for the money, the breakfast was good. I enjoyed dinner there one night and the food quality is very good. My room was nice, and the staff was very accommodating when I told them at the end of my day that they needed to replace the bathroom trash bucket! The furniture in the lobby is a little tired, but everything was clean. The bar is very cool, and was always lively.

We had an overnight stay last month and we definitely will be back for longer. Could not fault one thing about this hotel. The staff are so friendly, food was amazing and the atmosphere at the bar with the entertainment was brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, our room was big as well. I never do reviews but had to do one for here. Thanku x

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great bar and food was excellent.

In desperate need of renovation. Just been taken over, so work in progress. Our bedroom sockets fused, so had to request a move. The workmen woke us up at 7am banging loudly underneath our room- which we heard because our window was open because there's no air conditioning and it was very hot. The towels were well worn. No fridge or safe in the room. Hard mattress & no mattress toppers. The bar was nice although dated. The staff were excellent & supportrive. May revisit when the renovation is complete, but we moved hotels after one night this time.
