Da Vinci's Hotel Derry

Tv did not work in my room. They changed room to inferior room which had window through which I could not see out. No explantation or apology.

Just spent 3 nights here. Staff excellent as was the restaurant and bar facilities. Room serviced daily and always clean It is also very popular with locals and advise booking the restaurant It’s located about 15 min walk along the river walkway from the centre of Derry but if you don’t want walk taxis are plentiful and cheap If I had any small issue was that we were ground floor and suffered slightly from noise associated with the nearby shops and the bins from the bar There has been lot of money spent on hotel and it shows Special shout out to the restaurant staff and manager Would definately recommend both Derry and this hotel for a stay

Lovely hotel, food was excellent and only a short walk into Derry.

Nice hotel, room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were good. Great stay, no issues. Hotels not central but only a 10 minute walk into town which was a nice walk along the riverfront. The bar was very lively and had a great atmosphere.

Enjoyed everything about this hotel. Perfect!

The bed was clean the skirting boards were black with dirt.We were attending a family reunion The hall is lovely the bar is a rip off the food was certainly not prepared by a qualified chef It was disgusting watery curry with stodgy rice burnt baby potatoes with a shop bought lasagne The only good thing was coleslaw. Kids dinners were almost 7 quid served on aside plate lumpy mash rock hard chips god we should have gone to mcdonalds

While the food is very good at the restaurant the rooms aren’t very good. The phone was old and wasn’t working properly to reach reception, facilities said laundry and still water were provided, neither of which were. And the area was extremely noisy and made it difficult to sleep.

Basically our meal was average - the restaurant was not open ( that wasn’t made clear when we booked) so we had our meal in the Bistro Bar. We were told it was the same menu as the restaurant. The meal was average in quality, all well enough cooked but nothing to write home about. Service from the staff was excellent - really friendly and helpful.

A lovely place to pop in for a coffee. They made us feel really welcome. Not somewhere I usually go so I was very pleasantly surprised. Super staff. The blonde haired lady who served us was excellent. A relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be returning to sample the dinner menu.
