Da Vinci's Hotel Derry

Met my friend for lunch here yesterday to be honest I wasn't expecting much as the last time I had lunch here it was awful but my friend reassured me that there is new owners now. Our lunch was fantastic I ordered Coronation chicken sandwich with chips. The sandwich was delicious the bread was really fresh and the filling so tasty but better than that we got real chips and they were amazing. I'm so glad my friend persuaded me to go. What a difference the owners have made to the food alone. I will be going back for dinner soon. The service was great and the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the small but much needed changes which have been made to this hotel. I regularly stay here, but the last few times have been disappointed as the food, especially the breakfast was not up to standard. I was a little hesitant to book it this time, but thought that I would see if new owners meant a new experience at Da Vinci's. Wow, from arriving to leaving, I felt like I was important, the staff (reception, bar and restaurant) were so lovely and friendly. We ate in the bar on the Sunday evening and the atmosphere was electric (football match on TV), after that there was live music (good mixture of music) which gave a fantastic ambiance. The food was excellent, served piping hot, and the flavours were amazing. We sat in one of the booths and we had the most fantastic time. Breakfast was cooked to order, and was brilliant, good quality food and good friendly staff, what a way to start a day! Da Vinci's is back on my regular staycation list, I hope these improvements stay, as I will be recommending this hotel to my friends and family.

We had our wedding here in Da Vinci's on New Year's Eve 2024 and we couldn't have had a better experience! I stayed with my bridesmaids the night before and had fantastic food in the restaurant. I also stayed the night of the wedding and the day after. The bedrooms are at a very high standard, beautifully decorated and beds cosy and comfortable. On the run up to the wedding and the day of the wedding, all the staff throughout the hotel we're so helpful and accommodating to every need we had and the wedding itself will be a day I'll never forget! The wedding team take over and do all the setting up, which left me feeling at ease. I was able to have meetings with the manager several times and nothing was ever a bother, he was so accommodating ensuring I was happy, I'm so thankful for his help. The ceremony and reception rooms looked absolutely stunning, I was overwhelmed with how pretty the rooms looked. The food and service was outstanding guests commented on how nice it was and how quick the service from the staff was. If you are considering Da Vinci's for a wedding venue, you won't be disappointed! Thank you to all the staff at Da Vinci's for your hardwork, making our day so special!!

Lovely hotel with a great bar! Reasonably priced beer and cocktails. Breakfast options are fantastic and tasty Friendly helpful staff We did have an issue on our second morning which was dealt with professionally and we were reimbursed. Just be aware of renovations still going on but all in all a great place to stay with just a short walk into town
