Awesome hotel, nice service and great overall

We had a penthouse suite . With an outdoor terrace , sunbeds and bath . Outdoors . The view was beautiful. Mountains to one side and the sea views to the front . The hotel is centrally located , right opposite the beach . Near many restaurants and bars . It a beautiful quiet Spanish town. Not at all rowdy . The hotel is beautiful. Spotlessly clean . It has a beautiful spa and outdoor pool . We had beautiful choices at breakfast. We only booked bed and breakfast as I knew there are lots of lovely eating places around . The staff were very kind and helpful at the hotel . The room was cleaned every day and bottled water provided every day at no cost . We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here and will definitely return . Thankyou hotel Aqua Promenade

The hotel is 1 hour away from Barcelona airport which is not far to travel. The hotel is very clean and modern decor inside. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, with balcony and seating. Free WiFi at the hotel, and they have an outdoor pool. The food is so so good we had breakfast and dinner and the choices were always different. It’s not a “cheap” selection as some buffets are. There is anything from smoked salmon and caviar for breakfast with sparking wine to prawns, lobster, and bake fish for dinner. The selection is varied so very suitable for vegetarians as well. Staff are very nice multilingual, and there is always some one at reception. On Fridays there is a marker outside the hotel, the street is closed and the long line of stalls can be seen for about 1mile or so. Some stalls take cash only and very small about have card machines. This is the place to buy souvenirs, fridge magnets can be 1 euro each as the stores charges from 3 euros up. There is a train that end at Callea which is a shopping town centre and great walk to venture out or have a drink and enjoy a nice meal. The train is 3 euros one way and 5 euros return, as the driver for the last train time, if not a taxi can be approx 15-20 euros which is still good if you wanted to have a meal out. There are high and low season schedules so be sure to check the timetable. There are a couple of cash point machine by the hotel but they charge for withdrawing and the rate is much lower, we couldn’t find any exchange place so had to draw out from cash point which was £1 to 1 Euro. There is a pub down the road which serves lovely meals and has a wonderful ambience called signature, a lot of the hotel guests book breakfast then have dinner here. We throughly enjoyed our stay the best part was the Spa absolutely brilliant. If you book a treatment then you can use the spa at no extra cost for 2 hrs prior to treatment. Otherwise it’s just 15 Euros for 2 hours. We went in June it wasn’t overly crowded we managed to use the spa and its facilities with no problems. Take a towel from reception, and they have a shower in the changing rooms and lockable lockers inside. If you want a treatment it’s best to take a gown. Shower after your spa then wear your gown to your treatment. You can always come back and change for dinner. Staff were excellent a lot of the guest return back to this hotel. In the winter months this can be busy as this hotel is booked mainly for spa access. This hotel and flights weren’t that expensive we would have paid more going for a spa break in our home country.

Nice property, clean and spacious. Biggest complaint here is the A/C and climate. Typical for a tropical place but the sheets and bedding are always damp. A/C blows cold but does not dehumidify. Sleeping is an absolute nightmare. Bring a portable dehumidifier or something that will take the moisture out of the air. We tried everything, windows open, then closed even used the blow dryer to try and dry the sheets and pillow cases and nothing worked. Been to Florida which is just as humid and never had this problem.

Sehr schöner Balkon mit Meerblick. Die davor verlaufende Bahn ist allerdings schon laut und fährt ca alle 15 min. Der Ausblick überwiegt aber!

The hotel was clean, well taken care of and the stuff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seen until now, with a big variety of many things that changed each day, and many alternatives for foods. The train station that goes directly to Barcelona center is like 4 minutes from the hotel and you're in an hour directly at the center. The hotel is also by the beach, a really nice and clean one with a small beach bar where you can take something to drink if you want (entry to the beach of course is free, and the beach in general is not organized). The pool area from the hotel was really cute, with many plants that gave a nicer exotic vibe. We were all very satisfied with our stay and for the price we got for 3 people it was totally worth it! :)
