"Location is perfect"

Exactly what you expect for 3 star hotel. Liked the purple shag carpets, purple velour curtains and trendy 50s furniture. Location is fantastic, staff are great, good breakfast, 24 hour coffee and cookies is really good.

"friendly small hotel"

Herzen house is a good small hotel. So central. There is a nice breakfast buffet. it changes daily. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The only complaint the rooms are very small. tea and coffee available all day.

"3 star hotel with good service and good price"

Very much a no frills hotel, and rooms are smallish. But price is right, great location, staff was very friendly and helpful, and one of the few with a breakfast included and water cooler available which is good since you cannot drink the tap water in St Petersburg.

"Exceptional"

This small hotel is very convenient for the museums, shopping, tours, etc. Its clean, comfortable and give good value for the price. The breakfast room becomes a place to talk to others and there is always a snack available. I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Try the Russian restaurant just beyond the hotel toward St. Issac's. Excellent.

"Location Location "

Great location! Great staff, English spoken, clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast included (very nice and healthy). feel very secure. Comfy bed! Luggage storage post check out. tea, coffee and cookies 24hrs. Great internet. Very good hotel
