this bed-and-breakfast in Northern mean is wonderful. We had a great reception from the owners, Bill and Marianne. Room accommodations were well kept, clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, but the breakfast was absolutely spectacular. Fresh scones were delicious. I highly recommend this B&B if you’re visiting the Portland area.

The Innkeepers are warm, friendly and available - and very accommodating, from making a great cup of coffee available for early risers to crafting a wonderful breakfast each morning (fresh fruit, freshly baked scones, entrees from blueberry waffles to a lovely hash and eggs) to offering us a ride to a nearby state park for hiking. The Inn is super convenient - no car required if you’re in Freeport to shop…it’s just steps away from the Main Street shopping district and just a few minutes from the L.L. Bean mothership, yet very quiet. The outdoor fire pit area was a great place for enjoying some wine in the evening.

We have no nits to pick with our entire stay - highly recommend!

Wish we could have stayed longer. It has the ambiance of an older inn but the rooms are very clean and well maintained.
