Mata Rocks Resort

Love the balcony view and the sound of the ocean, very quiet and peaceful. Staff & service are great imma miss this place

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with a top notch staff. Enjoy Mata Rocks for its wonderful ocean views, spacious rooms with kitchenettes and balconies, restaurant & bar, palapas on the beach, and free bicycle rentals. Oh and don’t forget the pickle ball court, which I didn’t get a chance to play but wanted to. And lastly, the staff is outstanding, especially, Havi, Xavier, and Anita. They took really good care of us & we can’t wait to get back there again. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so relaxing & enjoyable!

Staff was so amazing! They picked us up and dropped us off at multiple places, held our bags, let us borrow towels the day we checked out, and were overall so nice and friendly! Knew us by name!

We loved our stay at Mata Rocks. The guys at the front desk (Hari and Ivar) helped us book tours, find a golf cart and pick restaurants. They were so kind and made us feel welcome. The resort is small and immaculate. We liked chatting with the other guests too. No sand beach for swimming, FYI. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great location!! Everyone who worked there was so nice and welcoming, very helpful in getting us our golf cart for our stay and great food and drinks!

Service was great. The WiFi was a pretty weak.

We liked being tucked away from the crowds of downtown San Pedro, but still within walking distance of things to do and with access to complimentary bikes to get into town. The service here was outstanding, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly and would remember our names and ask about our daily adventures. We would definitely come back again!

The property is pretty good and cozy, and the staff also is really friendly, unfortunately, the property is smelling bad due to the sargassum, so you cant stay longer bar or pool area
