Gainsborough House Hotel

Cooked breakfast is limited, but otherwise good. Very clean but dated

Carpet in room was dirty and not vacuumed for some time. Even had building nails laying on carpet. Bathroom was also dirty.

Lage zum Zentrum war gut

The hotel decor is a little tired and needs updating, but overall it’s ok. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Parking and location are good. Had a nice stay. Restaurant wasn’t open.

The chap on the front desk was very helpful indeed. He went out of his way to help us.

Breakfast on the first day was no good, not enough staff for the amount of people. No bacon for breakfast any day & you had to order fried or scrambled egg separately. On the first day, eveything ran out. I waited at least 15 minutes for more sausages to be brought out! Everything else was being taken by the other guests, so I put beans and hash brown on my plate, but by the time I got a sausage I had cold beans & hash brown. I had to eat the sausage on its own.

It was near West Midlands zoo and park
