We had another great stay at the hotel but missed a few key people who are no longer there. We have been going to this hotel for over 10 years every year. Jay Mar checked us in and he was awesome as usual. No one beats Maile and Keola. They are the BEST! Breakfast staff Aldrin and Jay took great care of us. We had a large group and they always worked hard to find us a table together. We loved that they brought nachos back to the nightly reception. Thanks Justin for that. The room cleaning staff was friendly and she did a great job. We were on the 14th floor.

Perfect location!

We were about to cancel our trip to Honolulu. Because we saw all the news about the Kona storm and we were worried about flooding and the bad weather. Somehow we made it all the way to here. We expected we will stay at the hotel most of the time due to the rain. I thought it would be still great if we could have a nice room to spend our spring break just to relax. But I didn’t expect as a Hilton honor Diamond member, the front desk told us the hotel is very full and gave us the first floor room with street view. When open the curtain all I can see is people walking around. This is not I expected from a Hawaii vacation. This is truly disappointing. I would rather stay at the Hilton Hawaiian village. They treated their diamond members completely different. I am so regret to stay at this property now. :(

Amazing customer service/food and views. Nothing beats it!! Not to mention the staff!!!! Auto was one of my favs- made our experience that much better!! We’ll be back

Close to location for prom. Breakfast included. Breakfast crew bussers were awesome!! Checked on everybody, help guest find tables, etc.

They did not accommodate our lifted vehicle. Got a late response when messaging hotel through booking.com app. We saw some vehicles parked in the lobby and why didn’t we get offered it too. Also, my son’s room did not have body wash. Bottle was empty. And need more help with complimentary drinks at the bar.

My husband and I stayed at the Embassy Suites Waikiki from February 21–28 for our anniversary trip. We stayed in room 1421. Overall we enjoyed being in Waikiki, but there were a few issues with our stay that future guests should be aware of. When we arrived at the hotel, the power was out, and we were moved to the Outrigger for the first night. The staff handled the situation and got us a room elsewhere, but because of the disruption we ended up missing our Pearl Harbor tour the following morning, which was disappointing since it was something we had planned ahead of time. Before arriving, I called the hotel and requested that two robes and slippers be placed in our room. When we checked in, we only had slippers and no robes. I had also told them ahead of time that I am sensitive to noise. Unfortunately, our room was directly next to the elevator. If you are sensitive to noise, I would strongly recommend avoiding a King Suite Ocean View in the Hula Tower. We were told many of those rooms are located next to elevators, and they are extremely loud. I travel with custom-made earplugs that normally block out everything, but even those couldn’t block the elevator noise. The housekeeping situation felt a bit uncomfortable. Our housekeeper would wait outside our door each morning to clean the room. Sometimes we were just quickly running downstairs for breakfast and planning to come right back up, but she would wait for us to leave and even ask if she could come in. It made us feel a little pressured to leave the room earlier than we wanted. Whenever I went to the front desk, they never gave me their full attention. One gentleman was working on a spreadsheet called “Japanese Guest Arrival List” while I was trying to talk to him about the hotel not having power. Felt very rude. Waikiki itself was wonderful and we still enjoyed celebrating our anniversary, but there were a few operational details at the hotel that could definitely be improved for guest comfort.

Nice, big rooms and a good (but small) gym. Theresa made excellent omelettes to order for us every morning and chatting with her brightened our day.
