I have marked this down slightly as my arrival was not one of the best. I was waiting to be seen when the receptionist decided to show a previous couple around despite the number of people waiting to check in. Once we were seen we were asked to place a deposit so that we could charge items to the room which we were happy to do so. However after ordering tea and signing for this we went to our room only to be disturb by someone knocking our door credit card machine in hand asking us to settle the bill. We then had to go back to reception to ensure the receptionist had actually opened the account. On the plus side I have to say the afternoon we were given a chocolate afternoon which is done each afternoon for guests for free. Jessica Pia wha helpful was very helpful and the only member of staff to ask if we were Accor members , which we were . The weekend entertainment was superb and we were lucky enough to see an amazing lion and dragon dance for Chinese New Year. The swimming pools and beach area were very clean and plenty of sun beds available. General Manager Simon was welcoming and always visible to guests and staff alike . He made us feel very welcome and was very easy to talk to. A very big hotel close to the airport.

Welcome atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, great service. Hotel beach was clean and water was clear. My 6-year-old son enjoyed his time at the Kids Club especially. There are daily kids activities to keep children engaged - fish feeding, sand castle building, chocolate hour, pizza making etc. Kathleen and Precious at the Kids Club were caring and attentive. They took great care of my son so we can spend time relaxing and using the hotel facility. Our family had a great time staying at Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu.

Movenpick was a great place for our location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the view from the hotel is great and the atmosphere is perfect for a beach vacation. We wished we stayed longer and would definitely come back again!

The service has beenAMAZING! Valentine’s dinner was formidable. Melch and Eric assisted me to give my future bride an amazing romantic dinner experience.

Kenneth was super warm and hospitable! He told us about free Chocolate Hours, which my friend & I then enjoyed every day of our stay. I had also lost one of my items, and he was very helpful in assisting me to find it. I will remember his kindness, proactivity, and bright smile in all his service! AJ was also very hospitable, and Giselle & Rey at the tour desk were both very helpful. All staff made us feel welcome and glad to be of service.

Perfect beachfront location, gentle and attentive staff, and an unforgettable, hands‑on cooking class with Chef RJ that turned the trip into a real culinary experience.

What a gorgeous hotel such friendly and welcoming staff and facilities and amenities are to our needs. Big shout out to Pat and Angelene who catered to our needs for our daily breaky Aj and Kenneth who never forgot us at front of hotel when we needed to get around or directions excellent experience
