The Inn at Montpelier

The building had a lot of historical charm. My room was pretty and comfortable. I liked being right near the town center, yet it was quiet.

I had a bad fall because you have to step down one level to go from the bathroom to the room. They warned me, but that evening I walked in feeling tired from driving, stepped off and went flying. I hurt my knee, ribs and ankle. I think they should place a visible strip there.

The people were great hosts, friendly, having everything thing ready, and several helpful moments along the way--ice, explanations, etc. Parking on site was close.

No tea choices in the upstairs porch and only light coffee. The bed was a little lopsided and the towels weren't swapped after the first night; no service or offer.

Friendly. Clean. Reasonable rate. I was only there overnight and had to leave early, but I would have been happy to stay longer. The location is perfect. I used to live across the street, I love the neighborhood.

It was very low key, quiet, clean, and homey. The location was perfect for a short stroll into town and even had close access to Hubbard Park trails.

It was a nice cozy bed and breakfast type place with a great staff. I highly recommend if you are looking for something comfortable and affordable.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and quiet. The breakfast was more than we expected- especially liked the mini quiche! The location is perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, and groceries. We would return if passing this way.
