We enjoy non-chain hotels. We are low-fuss people. The Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful property with comfortable public rooms and cozy private rooms. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly and helpful. We like that it is away from town and shops and busy roads.

Just what we needed to unplug and relax. Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful retreat surrounded by nature and a calmed environment. The place is just perfect and very cozy. The room was spotless, and the fireplace in the main building amazing. We spent a weekend with our son, and enjoyed feeding the alpacas and visiting the farms nearby. We'll be back!

"Terrific Vermont Inn"

Our 3 nights stay at Hill Farm Inn was very nice. The room was very comfortable, there is a sitting room with a fireplace to relax in as well as a bar area, game room and fitness area. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Also on the grounds is a terrific restaurant with a bar, both are highly recommended. The inn is also very close to Lye Brook Falls hiking trail. It is a bit of an uphill 2.5 mile in hike but well worth the view. Manchester is about a 10 minute drive from the inn.

The Hill Farm Inn is a great experience, soup to nuts. The views are fantastic, the rooms are very comfortable. Weather you are skiing, hiking, shopping or just relaxing-this is the place you should stay. It's a short drive to Bromley, Stratton, Hilldene, or just to shop Orvis, or the Manchester outlets. Enjoy the hot tub, the alpacas or a visit from the Maine coon cats that live in the barn. Great private party or wedding venue as well. The place is a "10" !

We LOVE this property!!! Each room has its own shower. The sauna and steam room are awesome. I felt we were so spoiled that we couldn't stay at other properties any more! The breakfast was healthy and delicious. Beds are firm and sheets are clean and new. Will definitely stay again when we go back to the area.

The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly. Even their restaurant staff was amazing. Special mentions belong to the bartender, Olivia; the inn's breakfast chef, Maria; front desk staff, Abby and forgotten the check out person who told us to come back and enjoy the farm in it's glory in July and August.
