Hill Farm Inn is the best.

Lovely farm inn, modern room, thoughtful design with great common space (library, game room). Great breakfast options, cook to order, scone and tea always available throughout day so great option for afternoon tea (especially after ski). We have been to the farm before for the onsite Hill Farm restaurant because the farm to table dinner there is unbeatable, this was the first time staying at the inn and the experience was great. The llamas at the farm is a plus, great if you have little one with you. Lastly, the countryside view on a nice day is just super relaxing. Definite go back here again.

The Hill Farm Inn is the best.

Lovely location, very quiet and calm. Simply beautiful landscape. Cozy and clean room. We loved the living room and the billiard room as well! Breakfast was delicious. Farm cats were really affectionate and cute.

Room could have been warmer. Not so easy to find a near restaurant during workdays in the off-season, but eventually every spot for dinner we found was nice.

Loved the fireplace.

The breakfast was the star of our stay. Wonderful pancakes and waffles with real Vermont maple syrup. Yum. Beautiful house and nice people.

No daily housekeeping. The bathroom was very small, so two people showering was difficult.

This is a beautiful place, excellent food and very kind staff. We rated this a 3 because we were not informed at check in that because we were only staying 2 nights our room would not be refreshed. If we had been informed upfront at check in or even when we booked we would have managed our expectations and not found ourselves surprised and disappointed. We choose to stay here for the lovely reputation and beautiful area. Since we paid a premium to stay here refreshing the room is certainly a reasonable expectation. How disappointing to have not been informed in advance and how disappointing that for what we spent monetarily we were not treated to the entire quality experience. We are disappointed.

Everything was amazing! It’s a very charming Bed & Breakfast on a 64acre alpaca farm. If you love being a little bit outside of the main town and being isolated, it’s a great spot. It’s very quiet and serene in the morning. They also have a restaurant you can go to for dinner (open Thursday - Sunday). My husband and I were lucky enough to experience their once a month hill farm dinner on October 18. It’s a family style dinner and we got to meet different people, we were beside the owners of hill farm, Anne and Donn. They’re amazing people who has passions for fly fishing and animals. We also ate breakfast every morning we were there and met Maria, she was the chef there in the mornings and each day was different. She was also very helpful with recommendations for activities around town. We also got to meet Pablo, their farmer. Such great group of people doing good things. We’re so lucky we got to experience this charming place on our anniversary. Will definitely come back!
