Inn at Jackson

Breakfast was great. Good selection available. Awesome views of Jackson and Black mountain from dining tables.

Not much. The inn is comfortable and has a great location.

It’s a perfect location, a beautiful property, well cared-for, with friendly staff. We had a lovely breakfast, comfortable room, and felt at home. Wonderful hospitality. Everything was really just right. I wish we had planned to stay longer.

Nothing really. I think the gas fireplace in the room may have been turned off for the season, but we were fine without it. I’m sure if we had asked the staff to help with it that they would have.

Gorgeous mansion of years gone by, now an inn. Very comfortable, quiet, excellent staff, superb breakfast and we would stay again!

Breakfast was incredible, the ambience was very relaxing and cozy, and the owner was very polite and kind. Overall I really enjoyed the inn itself.

The innkeeper wasn't very helpful or responsive. On our second night the heat was stuck blowing full blast and the thermo was pegged out at 85°. I texted the inn keeper and he didn't offer any help. When I returned home my girlfriend couldn't find her purse so I asked him to check the room and he more or less shrugged it off until I had a lieutenant visit which is when I found out someone was working who very easily could have checked the room like I had asked. Owner was delightful though and everything else about the stay was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Jackson. The breakfast was so good, and hearty which was what we needed since we were cross country skiing, microspiking, ice skating or downhill skiing every day. The rooms were clean and not renovated or updated which is not what we were looking for. We wanted history and nostalgia. We mostly enjoyed sitting by the fire, talking with other guests and doing puzzles.

My sister and I brought my elderly mom with us , and we spent two nights and we absolutely loved it! It was perfect.The breakfast was scrumptious the\nStaff were wonderful and accommodating!We will definitely go back next year! Our new favorite place!!

Excellent breakfast.

Location is excellent. The staff is very nice. Well-regulated temperatures. 24 hour coffee & tea available. Convenient boot mat outside our room’s door.

The house needs a little sprucing up which may be planned for the spring (new mattresses, fresh paint/wallpaper). Gluten free bread option and fresh brewed decaf would be nice for breakfast. Better lighting in the main gathering room corners for reading/puzzles/games.

This was our second experience at this inn. Breakfasts are good. you have a selection of four meals that somebody Cooks you and serves you a breakfast that's average to above average so cannot complain. The rooms are pretty large, moderately clean. This is an old Inn, so Furnishings were antique like . Shower hot water was very hot and our cold water was very cold and good to drink. There is a hot tub that was fixed this year so we used it everyday and it appeared to not have a specific hours which we thought was helpful, although we just used it after skiing in the late afternoon each day with almost no one there with us. Our room, the Joe Dodge #8 was on the second floor (no elevator), had 2 Queen beds that could use mattress replacing. But sleep was OK, we slept with windows cracked (we prefer it cold), needs some room darkening curtains (used a large blanket, which was functional enough, but a pain to climb up on the lovesest twice daily to don and doff. The owner, Anthony was very friendly. We saw him a couple times the second time we were there. apparently lives elsewhere but seemed receptive to our needs. And suggestions for changes. It has common areas that are nice and a refrigerator that can be shared but is fairly small. Overall recommended for the good value and great location to all kinds of skiing.
