Inn at Jackson

Wish there was a pool , and more landscape for garden sitting. Place was very relaxing and people very nice. Would highly recommend.

This is a nice spot for some quiet time together. The breakfasts were lovely, as was the staff. We booked late on a very busy weekend and ended up with the room over the kitchen and the outside porch. The air conditioner covered most of the noise. There were a lot of stairs involved, no elevator. I would go back, but would certainly request a different room.

Very interesting hotel, located in a historical building, which has preserved the spirit of New England. Really welcoming and pleasant hosts, ready to give any advice on staying and tourist places. Excellent home-made breakfast.

The mattress on the bed in our room was a little bit uncomfortable and a bit creaky. If this could be fixed, we would be absolutely delighted with our stay.

We booked a few days in July 2025 because we had such a nice time 6 years ago. It was as a cute, lively b&b with an amazing breakfast. Times have changed. I read it got sold a few years ago. In a nutshell, the innkeeper is absent, there is no housekeeping during your stay and the place could use some upkeep. While we were there the place seemed deserted. No one ever at the front desk or anywhere. We met a couple guests in passing. They thought this was odd too. We had a private porch but didn’t use due to the amt of bird poop on the railings and chair and dead leaves no one swept. No housekeeping is ok if staying 1-2 days but beyond that is not so nice having to find clean towels and having dirty towels heaped on the floor. Another peeve, the sand in the parking lot gets dragged into the lobby and your room. Not worth the $$.

The grounds are in need of attention, the blinds in the room are broken, carpets in halls are dirty , wires hanging outdoor furniture is dirty and covers in cob webs, the screens and plexi glass on the covered porch are ripped and dirty and the cushions had chocolate stains on them, parking lot coming in has big holes. It’s obvious the owner is just letting staff run it and not keeping up with the property
