la comida estaba regular, era lo mismo todos los dias en el bufet

les pedi alguna decoracion en la habitacion por cumpleaños, no lo hicieron en el restaurante de especialidades les pedi tocar las mañanitas, no lo hicieron se fue varias veces la energía electrica por segundos, lo cual encendia la pantalla tv en la madrugada

1- Los resto de snack cerraban a las 18 hs. 2- te muestran bebidas de calidad en la barra pero te sirven de 2da o 3ra 3- No dejaron pasar a mi transfer desde la recepción al lobby ( 2 km) y pretendían que me fuera caminando con una bebe de 1 año y las valijas. Todo por que yo no contrate un taxi y ellos tienen convenio o algo con ellos 4- el personal de recepción y seguridad son unos incompetentes

El hotel está muy bonito, nosotros nos quedamos en una habitación de las remodelasas y la verdad muy buenas! La playa es grande y al parecer el mar una hermosura, no puedo calificarlo porque nos tocó muchísimo sargazo (todo el tiempo una maquina y personal trabajando para recoger lo de la orilla, pero este recale ha sido muy importante). El personal espectacular, tuvimos un tema menor con una reserva en restaurant de especialidad y Consuelo nos ayudó de manera rápida y super comprensiva, mil gracias!! El desayuno es la comida mas variada.

El agua de la alberca siempre está caliente, no puedes refrescarte ante tanto calor. Solo hay un área de fumadores que está adelante de todo en el hotel, por lo que era mucha la caminata para llegar hasta alli, entiendo que es un ambiente libre de humo pero quizas poner otro espacio a mitad de camino (aunq sea a un lado y retirado de las áreas sociales).

Our Review of Catalonia Playa Maroma Resort We are heading out today and here is a quick little review “our thoughts”. We come to Mexico at least one a year and like to try different resorts each time…. We are not foodies and we know food is subjective for everyone but honestly we really enjoyed everything we ate. We had the buffet the first two nights. because that is my husband thing. They offered something different each night with was nice and it all was yummy, zero complaints. We ate breakfast at the better every morning and although it was mostly the same it was still great. We ate at the steakhouse the 3rd night and it was amazing! And the Japanese the 4th night and again it was amazing as well we literally have zero complaints about the food. I am sad we didn’t have the chance to try the B loved but heard great things (not enough time and didn’t eat lunch too often) Love the poolside service and snack area near the pool, the caramel banana crepe was my fave…. The coffee shop was another fave, the Mexico chocolate iced coffee 👌 We did the romance privilege the room was nice nothing fancy minus the jacuzzi on the balcony but we did not use. We did get early check in which helped because we arrived at noon. We took advantage of the free 25 minute massage but did upgrade to the 50 minute and they were great, upgrade costs weren’t terrible. Pool was great, plenty of chairs available most of the time. We expected the sargassum and didn’t think it was terrible at all but we did spend most of our time at the pool. I would definitely not call it a party pool but they did keep the activities going. I honestly would consider this resort more of an adults resort and would not bring my kids here, not too much going on for them. They did stay home this trip 🙂 Service was great! And our rooms were always clean and tidy (Rebecca did a great job) In hope this helps others 💕

We loved the pool and all the specialty restaurants. The staff was nice and friendly. We enjoyed that people weren’t trying to upsell us on packages or tours.

The first room we had had major issues in the bathroom with the plaster falling off and needed to be repainted. We switched rooms. The beach wasn’t really swimming ready as there was so much seaweed. The gym was very small (I did still use it twice) and the spa was so expensive.
